What did you manage last time? How fast can an experienced drag racer take a stock Hayabusa?

Must be quite addictive, once you do it a few times.

Last time my quickest was 10.59s from a standing start,  standard bikes with an experienced rider should be between 9.7s to 10.3s so im not far off, with some more experience I should be able to break the 10s ¼mile.

It is very addictive, im now umming about getting my acu licence and competing in the street ET class or the 9.50ET class as they wont require any/many mods over an extended swingarm

Im just going to throw it out there but if theres any of the members on here who own their own companies and would like to become a sponsor for me get in touch and we can have a chat about it, I wouldnt be asking for much just a few pennies to help me out abit in return for free tickets and I may look at getting some merch made up

That track looks amazing by the way....

Who gives a fuck over 200ft its all about the standing ¼mile that is the standard that matters

It is great running at a rwyb day, this time I'll be running my rear tyre at 20psi and launching at higher rpm, most of the time there im launching it at around 4k rpm but the rear tyre pressure was probably still too high as it was always wanting to wheelspin at anymore than that

Not to be a critic...but you should be blasting that bandit right out of the water...started to finish...

I should have been yeah but he's well versed on the drag strip, he's been doing it for a good few years and goes to every rwyb day so he is very good at getting off the line

Yes your right...I'd love to race you on identical bikes...

You were all over your barge would beat the busa.... so how about it.... as you see once it's hooked up it accelerates very quick

Also my rear tyre is completely snagged so im getting it changed on Wednesday along with getting it mot'd and I'll be using it for work to get the rear tyre bedded in before I give it some stick at the strip im hoping with a nice new sticky tyre it will hook up better off the line and make it less inclined to spin up, I will try one burnout to see if that makes much difference

I know Rich...the barge weight a ton ffs...from  lights to lights in a short sprint...ive surprised alot of riders...like Buckster was saying...you can just pin the throttle and dump the clutch...there's no way that thing will flip up in the air...

No and thats the problem with the busa dumping the clutch will just flip it, im being very careful with the clutch in the vids, Shaun and ant are being more brutal with letting their clutches out, in the last video you can hear it spinning up in 2nd and 3rd before it finally hooked up but that was running 42psi in the rear
