Buckster
Has anyone done this? I have bought some CVO panniers but they have cutouts for a Harley amp, I want to fill the cutouts and was thinking of trying to weld plastic in.

Catteeclan
I've always used glues on bumper repairs which can be hit and miss. I've been looking at this myself as well as the heated wire which is great for getting some strength back in. Watching.

I've repaired a fist size hole in one of my son's car bumper...using these wire clips melted in... What about showing us what your dealing with...your self proclaimed in house mechanical engineer could possibly give you some pointers....

Buckster
I have a good hot air gun used for soldering SMD’s so I’m thinking of using that with some abs rods.
