Windy as Hell here and although sunny, it's pretty freakin' cold out (19F / -8C). So I'll probably stay off the bike this weekend

It appears that some guy with a starter case of Bell's Palsey is attempting to justify his bad decisions about riding by making a video touting how great it is.

They road had just been plowed and the ripples were made of soft, silty dirt. Not really rough at all. Fun road to ride.

Can't believe that MotoBummer and I got out to ride yesetrday...in November! 70F / 22c out and sunny. Only got in a couple hundred miles and a little bit of dirt road riding...

Did a big batch on Monday, chocolate chippers - the only kind I can make....

55F / 13C (for the @Buckster ) and sunny. Good enough for me. But if we ride up in elevation, it'll be a lot cooler. Will have to stick to the valleys as much as possible.

Gonna be sunny tomorrow - am going to attempt to get out for a spin. Can't wait...

Just stopped by the local hardware store to get some bolts. they have a weapon clearing station near the front (next to the candy, of course). They practice better weapon safety than our boy Alec does....

My odo after the ride. I predicted about 4,000 miles and wasn't far off. I skipped the Texas portion of the ride as I was outta time and had to get back home, or I'd have been at about 4,500 miles. Can't wait to do it again...

Good points = took a throw away part and created demand for them. Nice. The ones I had that night were damn near perfect, too - good chow with a few beers thrown on top for good measure.

Not really, always seemed to be a truckstop nearby exactly when I needed one. Worked out pretty well.

Last day of riding - 556 miles later and I'm home. No snow at the house so no issues there, although it was quite chilly when I pulled into the driveway at 5:00 PM...
