25cm? A light dusting then.

No neighbors close enough to hear it.

Another hard day at work, playing along to some Lemmy. I'll keep my day job....
-
Exactly what I wanna do - steel building with an ample garage and a apartment to live in. Should work out pretty well for me after the divorce.
-
Damn - this bitch has worse spelling and syntax comprehension than you do. Quite a feat!
-
Bit breezy out today. Never mind the sub-zero temps, feet of snow - now we gotta add wind. Fuck my life.......
-
Didn't have my helmet in my size - go figure. Had to order it with an expected arrival date of 2-3 weeks. So, for $811, I got to bring home this hat,,,,,

Pics in the fog look kinda scary. Good BOTM material.

Day after Thanksgiving here in the US and I'm headed to a Black Firday sale at the local bike shop - need a new lid.

I mentioned to him about how many thousands of dollars "On Any Sunday" cost me over the years with new bike, new gear purchases. Malcolm: " Worked out differently for me" Me: "Fuck you, Malcolm" Malcolm: Big assed grin and nods his head.

Gonna be a long one ..... My wife had a hotel in Indianapolis where the annual Dealer's Show was held (show wheere MC dealers across USA gather to view new products, etc). She needed a couple of display bikes for her hotel's lobby. I got a friend's TZ250 (mint, museum quality) and another friend's Augusta MV 750 (also mint condition) for her to display in the lobby. Wife calls and says that some guy wants to but the MV and was it for sale? I ask for his name and number and I'll call him back. Wife: He's an old guy, named Malcolm Smith, number is .... Me: Skinny little guy with big ears and a big smile? Wife: Yup, that's him. Know him? I just about shit my pants as I 'm calling a boyhood hero of mine to discuss the bike. He was nice on the phone and then wants to arrange a meeting to hear the bike run. I drive down to downtown Indy like my hair's on fire - don't care about selling the bike, just wana talk to Smith! Dude shows up, helmet in hand and wants to ride it around a bit. If it runs okay, he'll take it. He's wearing kakhi pants, slip on shoes and a polo shirt - it's kinda cold out, too. Rips all over downtown Indy - we can't see him but we can hear the bike echoing off of the building's canyon like walls. He comes back and buys it. We talk about bikes., movies, etc for about an hour. Then it dawns on him that he's gonna miss his flight home. I offer to take him to the airport and he accepts. I load the bike on the trailer and haul it and him to the airport. Talking bullshit the whole way there, He asked me to store the bike until his pro motocross team drives thorugh town with their racing semi truck and trailer next month. Met them at a truck stop and transferred the MV over to them. Got to see a cool trailer oof a pro mx team as well.

Gave him a ride to the airport once after selling a bike to him. Super nice guy.

The weather here is still shit; about 4C and rainy. But back home they're getting about 15" of snow. So I have that to look forward to upon my arrival home later this week.

It is , indeed. Home of the Ohio State Penitentiary and also the Mid-Ohio Road Course for AMA Superbikes, Indy Cars, etc, But a shithole, nonetheless.
-
In Zanesville, Ohio now and they also have English weather here today. Haven't seen Sun since I left Colorado last Tuesday.
-
Well I didn't wanna sound so crass, but yes; shit. Cold, rainy and dark shit.
-
Sitting in a hotel room in Morgantown, West Virginia overlooking the raging Monongahela River. Tagged along with the wife as she came here for work. Nice little town full of friendly people. Headed to Southeastern Ohio next. Weather here is very English-like ....

I'd like to do Belgium as well someday. Just for the beers....
-
No it wouldn't - you'd be fine. It's not as hard as it looks. A few beers at night and you'd be good to go again the next day. I could also do a ride that doesn't leave Colorado - much less distance to cover, etc. But hotel prices in this State are very high for substandard rooms. Nice rooms are like $400 a night. It'd be nicer to get out to Utah and cheaper / better rooms with great riding.

Only have two scheduled so far. Hope add some more as the riding season gets closer. One; a route I've don e many times including Reno, California coast into Oregon and back home through Salt Lake City. Always fun. Two; the West Virginia down to Tennessee, Deal's Gap and back home via Oklahoma route. Have done this a few times before as well and it's always fun. Any of you wankers wanna come over and join us? It'd be fun to have a foreigner along to laugh at. And you'll get a fully guided tour of the USA for the low, low price of free. West coast ride is about 3,000 miles / 7 days and the eastern portion would be about 5,000 miles / 10 days. Could do longer as far as days goes if required.

High of -12C here today with snow. Locals will barely notice that it's cold and snowing. I'm just kidding you - I realize a little snow there is a big deal for the reasons you stated.
-
Oh no - it's snowing there?!?! How ever will you cope. Shit is asshole deep on a 9 foot Indian here. I feel your pain.
