After i left the MOT station i had a copper in a van behind me for a few miles in slow traffic i was certain i was going to get pulled because the MOT and tax ran out in November last year but no they weren't interested shows how shit they are at their job. Just been checking the 650 over getting it ready for an MOT. Rear wheel bearings shot and the front tyre cracked at the bottom of the blocks. Wheel bearings were an easy fix just put my spare wheel on the tyre is a bit worn on that one but i think it will be ok

Finished the LED light install today. I decided to make some brackets to mount the lights off the crash bar brackets as it was a bit busy on the handlebars, plus the light was reflecting back off the headlight cowl a bit so needed to go forward or fit a shroud for that area. i picked up some tube blanks which finished the job off nicely test fit And completed job see if the charging circuit is up to it

Yes it was crazy not even the guys selling you the insurance knew that, After i switched companies i had Bennett's phone me asking why i didn't reinsure with them i said because you told me you couldn't offer insurance on my bikes so to humour him because he didn't believe me i went through a quote with him after filling in all the usual details we got to the modifications and it sort of went like this, aftermarket exhaust, yup that's fine, all the fairings removed, yup all ok, oversize fuel tank, still ok, modified seat, oh hang on its rejected you let me try again after that he said i'm sorry but you are right we are unable to offer you a quote. Anything fitted to the bike that was not on it when it left the factory was a modification so something as simple as a tank protector if not declared could end with a void insurance with them in the event of an accident, not sure if their like that now though
