  1. The tyre restrictions doesn't apply to all the classes i'm not sure who is and who isn't affected by it
  2. That looks real clean how old was it when you owned it
  3. So what i want to know is what you all done to get these women to react like this
  4. Same here, i did drop the van off down the hill for a puncture repair ready for tomorrow and the walk back up nearly killed me i'm so unfit after the last two weeks of abuse I've given myself
  5. I've wasted the last 2 weeks so why should today be any different I've done fuck all again
  6. Thanks for that Yen i enjoyed that, ridden a lot of it myself but at a more sedate pace and recognise a few of the names in there ?
  7. That's right Bob. i know some on here will say that's nothing, in the US where you have thousands of miles of open roads i would agree but here in the UK its different riding that distance as you know Bob. It was 580 ish miles if i remember right
  8. I was thinking about the time i rode the British from around Pontypool to Blaenavon its about 5.5 mile long quite technical and i was pushing myself along it. About half way i started thinking when is it this going to fucking end LOL and these guys are doing that for 500 miles at a time. Done 500 miles straight on uk roads with a mix of unclassified roads to motorways once and that almost killed me.
  9. I do think this problem is real I've seen how ill my wife was with it so i try not to take any risks. I've just had 14 days off work and have left the house twice to go on the bike for the sake of my sanity and a few times in the car to drop my daughter off at work, and the whole time watching the world carry on as normal through my window. Tomorrow i'm back at work with about 30 others on a construction site with all the hazards associated with it and travelling 100 miles a day to get there and back with the biggest fuckwits you'd ever encounter on the roads and that is deemed all ok by the government but go out on my bike for a few hours where i don't encounter anyone else on the quietest of roads and trails once a week and that's not allowed in case i fall off go figure
  10. I think its a matter of using common sense there's no need to go visiting anyone or go into shops when out. you can fill at the pump if you need fuel and if you keep the trip short i cant see a problem, when i went out a week ago coppers in a patrol car waved me out of a junction in front of them, probably to check my plate but never stopped me.
  11. I was reading this that came up on the TRF page https://www.whitedalton.co.uk/motorbike-blog/2020/11/can-i-go-out-on-my-motorcycle-during-lockdown/?fbclid=IwAR2-OkD0MoxTp1V7TANpq26ESPUt2XxyybmFp_pjX6UGo-SecxEbDptIe2c
  12. You have the sound on when watching Itchy boots i new i was doing something wrong
  13. What i like about the Dakar now is the video footage is so damn good, this is the best 15 minutes of motorcycling I've seen and I've just looked out the window and its fucking snowing like hell so no motorcycling tomorrow for me ?
  14. I don't think moto Guzzi produced a rally bike so they modified a road bike and it being shaft drive probably had to stick with the rear wheel
  15. Yes used to be some great pubs in town back then. Flicks was my regular Friday and Saturday the kind of pub that has live bands on and your feet stuck to the floor LOL
  16. A long as its out doors and one at a time no group sex
  17. Your not wrong there, from my house to town is just over a 5 min walk and when i first moved here about 34 years ago i'd pass 6 pubs or if it was a Friday night i'd have 6 pints on the way to town now there's two left
  18. If your in tier 4 like i am there's no travel unless it's essential but there is a loop hole that allows you to ride your bike as its classed as a recreational activity. But this only allows you to go out on your own or with one other. It does not allow you to stop for a chat and meet others on route or stop in popular gathering spots
  19. That metal rule sounds a bit hard but whenever i had the cane it was because i had done something wrong and the warnings the teacher in the classroom hadn't worked. As much as i didn't like it i would liked it to still be in place as i new when i fucked about in school i could end up having the cane it was a good deterrent as the last two years before leaving school i cant remember having it. What deterrent teachers have now i don't know. Some of the pricks i see about now would certainly have benefitted from it i'm sure
  20. The cane for me was across the fingers on the way down and back up first stop on the way back to the classroom was the bog to numb the pain under a cold tap
  21. And it didn't work for me or you Pete
  22. No don't, i like watching it but don't get much coverage of it here in the UK just pick up what i can on line. A guy i was in school with has entered a few times. I went to an evening where he gave us a talk about the event and how he got to enter it was very good. I was going to the bog later as he was coming out and he said hows it going Fred i was quite embarrassed as i would never had know who the hell he was if it wasn't for the event, Craig Bounds is his name https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2016/august/dakar-racer-craig-bounds-my-life-in-bikes/
  23. It's neck and neck now i could vote for myself and put me in front but i think that would be considered cheating I like Grasshoppers photo for the scenery it looks stunning but this is bike of the month and although its not a Honda i really like Bobs T7 so why did i end up voting for Tym's mobile light house
