I have to get up earlier than i normally do to go to work on my fecking day off tomorrow to drop the wife and boy off in Cardiff to catch a bus to Hammersmith. Their going to watch Saxon they are tickets he got for his sixteenth birthday 2 years ago but the concert had been cancelled numerous times because of covid. When i get home i think i shall brave the weather and get out on the bike for some filthy action

For some reason that reminded me of a bike rally i went to back in the late 80s the Yorkshire pudding rally i think it was. Me and a mate were sat by our tents after setting up camp swilling beer when a guy on a Harley came in, the first thing he done was chain it to a small tree even before he had unpacked to set up camp and while setting up camp he wouldn't stop looking at it like he was scared to let it out of his site or something so in the early hours me and my mate pissed as farts and giggling like a couple of school kids cut the tree down with a crap folding saw and stole the tree. The guys face was priceless when he got up in the morning

If it looks like shit smells like shit and tastes like shit then it probably is shit

Its even worse than that hes from mountain ash and probably the cheapness of the place attracted him I just looked him up on Facebook and he looks like he's doing well still into bikes and in some club, pretty much the same as what he was when i bothered with him. He's 10 years older than me so should be 64 now. He introduced the naïve young 17 year old i was back then to bike rally's and clubs which i feel really enriched my life so i do thank him for that by the way he is an anti vaxer
-
Yes i did find him on facebook years ago and he was always sending me links of run down houses with large plots of land for like £3000 but he is totally anti establishment and full on with conspiracy theory's and other stuff like that i couldn't stand the crap he was posting so switched off any notifications from him, Hes just the type to be an anti vaxer and shout about it

Don't ask me he didn't even tell me he was going. last i heard he was shacked up with some gypsy girl more than half his age and living off the land

Me and a friend bought it back in the 80's from some big bike auto jumble thing in Bristol as a long term fixer upper, i had the engine to rebuild and he had everything else but neither of us had any cash to spend on it i'd moved in with my missus and we lost touch with each other and it was all forgotten about until my father said what you doing with that engine in the shed. When i went to get back in touch with my mate he didn't live at his old address anymore the bugger had sold up and moved to Bulgaria It should have looked like this in the vid but all that's left is the engine. which now i think of it i haven't seen for over 30 years i'll have to see if the old man still has it kicking around up there

That's what i like about it, when i was in school we used to go to the bakery up the road and buy half a freshly baked cob still warm from the oven and then to the chippy to fill it with chips everyone used to scoop out the dough in the middle and throw it i used to eat that on the way to the chippy it was the best bit

Apparently white bread is low in fibre and protein which is bad for diabetics like me as you can get erratic blood sugar levels so brown bread is better for me but you cant beat toasted white bread something i really miss
