    I know what you mean cost me £117 to refill the marmite wagon after our few days away i know its not very economical but last year around this time it would have cost around £80 for the same trip

    Yes i'm having a few beers for him now really sad. I've been thinking of all the stupid stuff we done on the bikes over the years which should have killed us but we got away with it and this is what gets him just no sense. He was planning a mountain bike trip to north wales with his eldest boy and Mike Rob last weekend three days later he's dead.

    I know some on here new him personally or interacted with him on line its with great sadness i have to say he past away today He was taken into hospital earlier this week with a headache and was found to have a bleed on the brain they put him in an induced coma and switched the machine off today as there was nothing else that could be done for him Here's some unflattering photos of him someone i was happy to call my good friend and ridding buddy RIP Steve

    I'm amazed how many posts i see where people ask how much play is acceptable on a wheel bearing the answer is none it may last a while but your on borrowed time and will most likely fail when your on a trip miles from anywhere. you're doing it right 7 quid and a bit of time in the comfort of your home V a 2 hour wait for recovery on the road side and a ruined trip

    Yes but he hasn't been out for a bit his missus is ill at the moment just had a tumor removed and has to have some chemo. The only reason he was out yesterday was because she was recovering from the op and he wasn't allowed to visit so rather than being stuck in he joined me
