New bits for the R6 arrived tonight so I've just been in the shed and assembled the fork ready to go back on the bike tomorrow. Don't know what make the seals and bushes were but it was a little tighter than I'd have liked and the seal is almost .5mm taller so getting the seal clip back in was a bitch, had to push it home with a screwdriver.

That's mostly the oil and brake material, look a little better now clean.

Had a R6 delivered for a bit of work today. Leaking fork seal and a rear tyre. Turned into a fucked Inner tube with a pit the size of a 5 pence piece, oil all over the brake pads, weather seals hanging out of the calipers, also noticed a nice fat spot in the rim.

I haven't seen a double D helmet in ages. Having said that my last 3 helmets have been Nolans and all have the toothed latch, haven't thought about it for ages either.

I'd have thought a fork seal would be a "wear" part as it's exposed to untold crap off the road but if you can get a warranty claim for it go for it. How long have you had that thing for now?

Talking to the chap in Colchester Diesels today. When I went in Monday he asked what bike I was riding and I never asked him. Turns out he has GSXR1000, turned and banging out around 210bhp. That should get down the strip fairly well.
