  1. Setting off for the Isle of Wight again soon for a couple of days via the Southampton ferry. Didn't know Del was based there, times I've been through.
  2. Fuck sake. Met Dell and his son at the copdock bike meet some years ago, good man and a good lad. Thoughts and condolences for his family left behind.
  3. Looks lovely, just like thetford forest, but prob not as big.
  4. Just like a bike Marcel, it'll only take you where you want to go.
  5. Pros, It might give you a couple extra hp, might look better. Cons, your wallet will stuffer, you'll destroy planet earth and the entire universe
  6. I often think things like that. Went to the local butchers yesterday and sure enough parked outside was a red Mini Cooper S and I'm sure I knew the owner from years ago.
  7. If you clamped the hose next to the M cylinder I assume you've got some air in/let it run out of fluid. Chances are the air is in basted banjo joint, this is where the syringe works well.
  8. Assuming the hoses are still standard, clamp the hose from the master cylinder. If it's still spongy you have air in the cylinder or time for a rebuild. It can be a bitch getting all the air out. The method I used on the R6 yesterday. Calipers hanging by the pipes. I have a milk bottle with a pipe running into it connected to the open bleed nipple, one side at a time. Topping up the reservoir and allowing the fluid to run through itself. Tapping and moving the calipers around. Once you start to get clear fluid I did up the nipple and operate to level a few time to push some of the pistons out a bit. Clamp the pipe, open the nipple again and push all the pistons home with your hands. Did this a couple of time per side and got a cracking level. Another is the big syringe connected the open nipple forcing the air and fluid upwards. Cover everything around the res as you will spill some. This way also works well. Have fun.
  9. Super slimey, where that Bob?
  10. Why are they holding their spuds in the photo?
  11. Happy birthday. Enjoy.
  12. I'll second that after the dominator.
  13. New bits for the R6 arrived tonight so I've just been in the shed and assembled the fork ready to go back on the bike tomorrow. Don't know what make the seals and bushes were but it was a little tighter than I'd have liked and the seal is almost .5mm taller so getting the seal clip back in was a bitch, had to push it home with a screwdriver.
  14. The second bush in on the lower end of the inner tube. You'd manage it.
  15. That's mostly the oil and brake material, look a little better now clean.
  16. Had a R6 delivered for a bit of work today. Leaking fork seal and a rear tyre. Turned into a fucked Inner tube with a pit the size of a 5 pence piece, oil all over the brake pads, weather seals hanging out of the calipers, also noticed a nice fat spot in the rim.
  17. Good luck with that one
