  1. Could put it back on, let it go with the bike.
  2. Got back from here yesterday. Beautiful place but could only afford to live there for a couple of days. Me and Mandi have had our feet up until now, she's off again to the west side for some work and I might just continue with the feet up idea. Assuming I can find something to watch on the tele.

Thanks for the pics, so quiet. Hope the night went well.
  4. That's the norm. At least there's hope they hurt themselves riding it before it dies.
  5. My thoughts exactly. Or once a fire started it all went tits up when it got to the electric crap.
  6. So sorry. My condolences Ian.
  7. That name rang a bell so I just googled it. Me and a friend stopped off there for some dinner and beer one evening which was bloody gorgeous after a walk.
  8. I still have mine but also the photo card. When I got my last speeding fine I was told the old ones were obsolete. Lord Google says, If yours was issued before 1998 and you only have a paper licence, it is still valid so keep it safe and away from the bin.
  9. Daughter's on her way home and no doubt the first stop will be market chips. F1 with the bonus of a Saturday sprint race this weekend, no plans other than that.
  10. Happy birthday not so little one. Don't the time just fly by, Just wait until you're a grand parent.
  11. Yes, you should have resistance between them so you're prob spot on.
  12. "There is no power at the bulb connector and then I traced to wiring to the fuse box and there is no power there. I suspect it might be the relay at fault as I have power going in and as far as I can tell none coming out" . You should be able to bridge 30 and 87 to get the light on. The other 2 should give you vehicle voltage with the bike running.
  13. Interest rates are a bitch at the mo as my 2 boys will tell you but rent is dead money.
  14. I had a yellow 1300L. Wasn't long before I stuck a 2000cc engine and gearbox in on the 1300 axle. Used to get to a ton in no time but would go no more as it was out of revs.
  15. Think I'd be a little wary of the last 2.
  16. Agree, mk1 escort colour, but I'd still have it.
  17. Many years ago me and my older brother fitted a used auto gearbox to one and didn't quite get the torque convertor alined. 30 miles down the road the noise bearing and seal failed resulting in a long line of oil on the floor before it could go no further.
  18. Yes. Took the owner an age to get it how he wanted and you can tell. I'll text my mate later see if he took any more pics of it.
  19. A few gems from the event today. Very small but looked to be a success. This was the star for me. So clean and very well restored. Was so taken by how good it was under the bonnet I forgot to take any more pics of it. 3ltr auto.
  20. Some people make it look so effortless. Makes me sick.
