I live next to the sea and eat almost nothing from it as I see the crap that gets dumped in there.

The old x-type was mondeo based, the xf wasn't mondeo apart from maybe the front suspension, and obviously the engine was a Ford v6 but the rest of the car wasn't Ford based
Only made by ford

The audi is a family car, its a 2l tdi estate so not exactly what you'd call extravagant yeah maybe upmarket slightly but I don't want a mundano or a picarsehole or any of that lower class heap of shite.Â
I'd have liked an xf estate but they are abit more money than I'd like to pay.
And they are alot more in road tax than the audi and the audi is better on fuel so that's why I got what I gotÂ
Funny you just dissed the Mondeo even though the jag is owned by ford and have mostly ford parts. Which are prob still made you know where.

`Or something Japanese or Korean. Don't get me wrong I love German cars but they aren't what they used to be. Â
Nothing's what it used to be as most of the components for all cars are made in you know where. Yes they are running cleaner while the electronic/mechanical components are operating within spec but miles take their toll.
Still stay the best cars made were between 1996 and 2006 over here.
The Mondeo is a very underrated car, have a look Busa.- 2

Possibly, it idles fine when it's cold but once it warms up it starts hunting/running on 3 cyl and then the idle climbs from 1.5k to 2k rpm and blipping the throttle the revs don't drop to idle sharp that gradually come down.
I'd be surprised if its an injector issue its more a throttle body issue I think
Sounds a bit like an air leak.

I have to agree, yes it's a cleaner interior with just having a switch but it's like they tried to reinvent the wheel and in fact they have gone backwards with it
Once that auto brake is sorted you'll change your mind.
I was the same but now I'm used to it and like it.Shit for handbrake turns in the snow though as it won't operate at speed.

I've been using a snap on solus ultra for the last 8 years. Never had the £800 a year updates but now seeing cars I can touch with it.
My old place of work also have the same, (with updates at £800 twice a year), but have also got a Launch which they say is much better.
The VAG leccy brakes can be done without a diag or workshop mode. Check YouTube.- 2
