Raining here in Manchester but according to my son and grandkids it’s pissing down at home. Got him to drop the rabbits breakfast in the passage.
Be dropping Mandi at the airport soon and heading home to the heavier rain.- 1

The older ones had the nickname "exploders"! I wonder if they've sorted that?
Redesigned some of the top end parts and all is well I believe. That also had some rust build up in areas too.

Tried to pull the truck outta the carport this morning to finish filling the bed up w/ yard debris....battery was completely flat....put a meter on it to see how bad it was...Flat 00.0- dead as a door nail. Drove down to La Grande & scored a battery @ WalMart for $140...finished loading yard debris to take to the dump tomorrow morning. Tonight is date night....Tequila is on the agenda. Definitely Riding on Saturday...probably farther out on Clark Creek.
Unusual to be that dead, hope something not draining after buying a newbie.
Off to Manchester for a fancy dress birthday party soon, and it's raining. Dropping Mandi at the airport tomorrow dinner time as she's off to Copenhagen for the week.- 6

So here are the photos of the pistons and calipers, the little marks are baffling me as they have never been out before and they weren't dropped when I removed them.
You can see a build up of matter around the pad ends but that scrapes off with a fingernail, maybe a light sand will sort them out, they aren't at a crititcal spot and the seals look OK so I think I'll reassemble them and see if they leak.
I'll be doing the other side ones soon, the air gun I used didn't have a rubber sealing tip so I may try and use a rubber glove with a pinhole in it or something, until I get to see the condition of those pistons I'll bide my time.
Are those that crap composite pistons, throw them away and get someone to turn you out some stainless. Seeing them on cars going out of shape and sticking up causing over heating.

Well im now back home with said new goggles, luckily I dodged the rain for the most part but its started raining here now.
@boboneleg just want to pick your brains abit so it rides fine though abit snatchy at low rpm and the idle when warm is rather high 1800-2200rpm and the it isnt sharp when i rev it takes a couple of seconds for it to return to idle and seems to sometimes run on 3 cyl.
I'm starting to wonder if the injectors are abit bunged up or something, I know it needs a service (plugs and oil+filter) but I wouldn't expect that to fiddle with the fueling with exception of the spark plugs but they were replaced in the service it had just before I bought it.
Would you recommend some fuel additive or something or dive right in with a full service?

Been wasting time fitting an eBay fuel pump to a jag today only for it to buzz for a while and give up the ghost altogether when I tried to test it in a bucket of petrol.
The shed, car and overalls stink, someone give me a match.
