  1. Went shopping, had food. Got the Tracer out and went round the brakes changing fluid and a good look over ready for MOT.
Came back in to watch the F1 sprint race. Mandi had the news on and they announced Khan had got a third term. After his antics.:classic_laugh:
F1 was the normal out front but some good fun behind the RB. Qually tonight for tomorrows race.

I can only afford to run the scoot, another bike is just a pipe dream......

I can get spark plugs for £10, tyres where put on just before I got the scoot, had a look at them, in good condition......air filter is the problem,  with no importer or dealers getting genuine Daelim parts is problematic.

I can't say this Hondas build quality was anything to shout about either judging by the rust on the frame, not unlike Mandis CBF I noticed when I fitted her new battery.

  3. Two bikes is double the expense Clive, or maybe more.

This scoots spark plug retails at £40, found them on eBay for £18. Tyres are still originals, 2020 bike, and are cracking around the side walls so they won't be long for change even with lots of tread left.

  4. Was hoping to get Mandis CBF and the tracer MOTed last week but didn't have the time.
Pissing down with rain yesterday and had to collect a bike from Caister so I tool the dominator, left it there and rode back and serviced a 125cc Forza. Great weather protection so can see why people like the scooters but not yet thanks.
Still came back the long way after taking it back.
Mandis been in Copenhagen all week and was back late last night so have no idea what we're doing after a bit of shopping.

  5. Took the Dominator for a MOT a few mins ago and was disgusted to see I'd only covered about 300 miles on it since last year.
As Mandis been so busy we haven't been out like we used to and I'd bet the TDM and Tracer have only covered a few miles.
But the domi's the embarrassing one as it's my local hack. For shame.

She would be in a foul mood for ages if I did, believe me........ it isn't worth the hassle...

Don't see what the prob is if you can't hear her, nothing worse than a woman's tongue.:classic_laugh:

The place they took it to (Niel Harrod Auto Electrician) is the one of the best in town, the manageress of the care home cannot not be arsed anymore, just wants it out of the way, it's taking up parking space, so she told my daughter that they are going to phone scrap yards that collect and get shut of it........

Go get the engine and box out ready for yours.

None that would fit my bike, there are Kwaka, Honda etc but no actual KTM ones and the prices are outrageous when you include postage, anyway the ones that I have are going back in so we are trying to find a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.

Not saying there was a prob but knowing what happens with the composite pistons a stainless option I'd have thought would be a longer lasting fix.

I've polished a few marked pistons up myself to get them going again too.
