    An update :-

In the early hours of Sunday 3rd of March 2024, Sharon was walking home from her shop and feeding stray cats, when she was the victim of a brutal hit and run. The driver, with no insurance and whilst under the influence of drugs and alcohol, drove through a dead end and hit her whilst she was walking on the pavement.

Sharon sustained massive injuries, including two broken legs, fractures to her pelvis and hip, numerous injuries to her vital organs, a fractured neck and a bleed to her brain. She is currently in intensive care in UHW and has already undergone several surgeries.

That's just horrible. It's a shit uncaring world we seem to live in now days.

As far as I remember it was just the model year, what I'd really like is the XL500R but they came a bit later

I had the 500r for a good few years and loved it other than the rear squatting under power. Never noticed that at all on the 250s but that was a lot less power.

Hell no..but maybe I'm a little old fashion in my ways..I think maybe my high school sweatheart was to blame...you see when I turned 16 and was able to work ..I was spending my summer months working ..it was and hour and half away at a grab processing plant...the slut cheated on me and has I recall it hurt real bad....and it's how I bought my first motorcycle by the way with my own money....I was  30 years-old when my twins were born..after two months of shagging this bird at the time..I didn't even really know her or had any feelings towards her at the time other than sex...but I made the decision to stick around and raise those boys...and even I could have cheated on many occasions if I wanted to..I didn't ...just didn't want my boys knowing that I was a cheater if that makes any sence...beleive me I had my share of shagging birds left and right before my boys were born and also after I separated...Aberdeen I had feelings for her...shame things didn't work out..but I'm not dueling on it...life goes on is my point of view...

I don't ever remember using my head back at that age, was lead by alcohol and the 3 piece.:classic_laugh:

Big fight few weeks ago....it's kinda of a mutual thing...I'm sick of running to her place every weekend...she's not willing to move ...and I cant certainly move either with my shop on the go....so after talking  things  over I think the best solution is to part ways after 8 years...

Nothing worse than a stubborn bugga, unless there's a couple of stubborn buggas.

  5. Walked back from Belton this morning, (couple of miles south of my house) and had to take my coat off. This afternoon I was out Martham which is a few miles up the coast and the breeze was bloody freezing. Now sitting here with a fat body warmer on.

I used to do some night shifts there, sometimes had call outs to work on top of these beasties, Kone conveyors for offloading coal and grain off the ships. I have fond memories of climbing up them in the dark blowing a gale on wet oil covered checker plate flooring with handrails that were only hip high and they were never horizontal when i had to go up them, not scary at all honest lol

I called Domingo the plumber at 10am and he just came round to replace the upstairs toilet mechanism and repair the downstairs one!

It cost €50 (£42).......how much in Britain these days for that cos I can remember plumbers charging silly prices?

It'd cost £50 for the phone call.
