  1. One of the biggest "probs" with setting carbs is what the manual says. Nine times out of ten an extra bit of richness via said mixture adjuster makes all the difference.
Them trying to keep the emissions down when it runs so much better given a bit more fuel so you end up using less fuel.:classic_blink::classic_blink:

Tyms in love again. You're not sending it over now are you.
By the way, tick overs a bit high.:classic_biggrin:

    Here's a true story Dave!

When I came over here in October 2005 I needed to return the hire car back to the UK. Got lost somewhere in France in the early hours of the morning and stopped at a service area to get directions.

The cafe was full of truckers and I tried my best to get across that i needed to get back to Britain. They weren't remotely interested in helping me. Then thinking back to French I did in school I remembered "Pays de Galles" (Wales) and told them I was from there.

Total change! They all wanted to shake my hand and buy me coffee. A few of them could even speak decent English and were telling me about how welcome they were made in Cardiff when they went there for the rugby. They fucking loved the Welsh! Eventually one of them said to follow him and he got me back on the motorway.

Now I'm not saying it's a disadvantage being English.......it's more a case of having an advantage if you're not! :classic_laugh:

I'm not surprised. It's the same old thing though, I've done nothing to offend the foreign twats.

I fuckin hate football. Any fight I had in me died many moons ago. Too old and can't be arsed.

The sun always shines here, reports of rain are fake news.

You big fat liar. You'll be selling water to us when the world over heats.

  3. We only stayed the one night and there was no prob with the place. Our accommodation from the outside looked like a world war bunker painted white but once inside it was excellent value for money. The owner spoke a little English and looked after us. We showered and went over the bar and watched the sun go down. Food was ok, had more beer and stumbled back to the air conditioned bunker. Have no prob going back again.

Looking over the reservoir, it wasn't unlike some of the pics you post but then it is a big country.

  4. How far from here are you Pete?

Me and Mandi were there last year, not what we expected when we spotted the accommodation but it was great inside. WE were sweating buckets, so hot. Drank a lot of beer that evening.

Still got Mums 325e in the garage!

    What year is that Tym?
I'm on a WhatsApp group with a lot of the old bikers from this area of my era. Most of them have z9, z1000s and the like stashed away. Only one regularly ride his. They've all got more modern bikes which they ride all the time.

    Sums it up really.

  7. Just remindered me, got bet I couldn't"t drink a bottle of whiskey, I was in my teens too. I drank it, woke up 4 hours later in someones front garden.
Apparently I tried to fight everyone so they pushed me over this garden wall and left me there.
    Felt rough for days.

Like following a load of scoots on a MAG run. I felt physically sick. Stinky!

We followed a few Harleys into Brighton some years ago, ears where ringing, eyes were streaming. Won't be doing that again.
