Have a look at The Circle on Netflix. I watched it last night. I thought it was really good accurate and scary prediction/observation of the social media society/hellscape that is developing before our eyes.

Finally managed to get out for a walk today with the Dear Boy. Been off the treadmill for 19 days and not feeling that good. Eating too much crap and inactivity are not good for your waistline or mental health. Combination of Christmas, work and gout just took me away from the right path. But today was the first day of the new regime back on it as both Odie and I need to shed the Christmas chub. Only managed 5.5 k but start small and often will make it sustainable. Anyway we went to Parbados did the community fields then a full circle of the beach. Noticed that the rivers are full shame the reservoirs down here aren’t. Something wrong somewhere.

Fooking expensive morning, took the Mrs to the local Equine store as she had to have a new coat and boots. I had a bit of a head from yesterdays out out antics which didn't help. Anyway 300 quid lighter, and that was in the sale and a 'bargain actually' the Mrs tells me I was going to raise my blood sugar by going to the in store cafe. Only to be told that the breakfast menu is only served until 11:00 and the lunch menu starts serving at 12:00, given it was 11:19 I could only have coffee, so off I flounced elsewhere. I hate these bloody posh places I really don't fit in there. Now chilling watching rugby, on the bright side at least the Mrs is happy.

Working overnight all weekend, first shift last night. Not moaning my kids are big and I want the triple time. Boxing day will be my day down the pub singing carols.

Totally agree with that, even the ones that are retro styled have fooking great rads and weird looking exhausts. I saw a Kawasaki yesterday, believe it was an H2, with stupid looking little winglets on it. FFS.

Fuck knows, going to seriously look at preventing it in future though, not at all fun. On meds from the Doc which is helping. Gout sounds like a joke thing, bloody debilitating. If I have to live on rabbit food for the rest of my life I will to rid myself of Gout.

Anybody watch this guy, I don't know why but I find his video compulsive viewing. He has made some interesting custom bikes over the years and brought loads of stuff back from the dead.

Looks like a bleddy nice day there. I haven't ridden mine for the best part of 10 days and am really missing it. Obviously the weather was a factor but I couldn't have got on the thing anyway as the gout is back with avengence. I am going to ride it on Monday no matter how many layers I have to put on.

No mad keen on mince pies. Will eat them though. Weirdly we were given a food hamper this week with these inside. Quite nice but they were free which puts them in pole position for me
