  1. I can't fucking believe it I managed to fall over again the second time in less than a week. I fell down steps on Monday, last night I fell over in the carpark at work. Slipped on a mud in the dark and went down doing the splits. I felt a crack in my leg and now I have pulled my hamstring. I'm fucking falling to pieces. Got sent home because it was to painful to drive for the next 10 hours. Luckily I work with medics so mine last night sorted me out. Now I am a clumsy cunt I will admit but twice in a week is more than that so those fucking Clarkes shoes are going in the bin. Slippery bastards. Frustrating as I am going to be laid up for my rest days and can't do what I do normally. Now on painkillers, and my leg is glowing with Ibuprofen gel and deep heat. Stinking I will resist spamming this place although I have fuck all else I can do.
  2. My Eldest daughter is 18 today. She is not even going out as she has the flu. Never mind she has a bottle of Malibu to ease the symptoms.
  3. Going on the bike or going back ?
  4. I did like them too until I looked closer, they are zipped with no locks and £500 with frames. Shame as they could have been so much better.
  5. Took my mate to Damerells and Thors today to look for his fourth bike that he won’t ride when it’s wet. Didn’t bother taking any photos at Thors but took a few at Damerells. I did notice that my Himalayan was in the sold line.
  6. Do you know what I think that is spot on. Lost his grasp on reality again.
  7. I remember reading Lenny McCleans book, it didn't paint him in a very positive light. Sounded like a right horrible bully. As to Fury he just lost almost all the credibility he had by all this bulshit with Usyk. Sad really.

Probably on the river bed where the cannons came from. Actually there are some in the Town Museum, I suspect if they left them lying around on the quay they wouldn't be there long.
  9. I have been looking for a rack for awhile for my bike and have seen that Shad advertised but always thought it looked Big, be interesting to see how it looks on your bike.
  10. I didn't know you were left handed Pete.

Fowey Guns Only two now, I will try and find out what happened to the third. Still twice as many as Pollyrooster St Catherine’s Castle at the River mouth. The are to large articulated gun inplacements on the flat section below the tower. I will take some pictures the next time I am up there with the Dear Boy. Polruan Block house.
  14. Sounds a right pain Clive.
  15. I like almost everything but rap and screechy operatic devas.

There were two block houses either side of the river with a large chain running between then dating back to Elizabethan times. The first one obviously. The idea was to close the harbour to French raiders. The Polruan block house is still there but the Fowey one is long gone. The chain is still on the river bed or so a mate in the divers club told me. There is also a castle at the river mouth with gun emplacements. You would have gone to Polruan by ferry from Fowey. I used to ride it every day with my Mail when I did the post over there.

I couldn’t say mate I only went there years ago when it was the Pit Stop Cafe I only heard about the place having bikes last week. Most of what they had was dog rough and over priced. Not that friendly either. Wouldn’t surprise me if they were dodgy though just didn’t feel right there.

We have three aimed at them mate, on our town quay.
  19. This thread has confirmed I am on the right place amongst you old fellas, I actually managed to have a fall yesterday according to my bloody nagging Apple Watch. I went to a funeral of an old mate down at Golant, the wake was in the pub, only had a coke. Anyway when I had to go I went out through the front patio garden area and down some slate steps, I slipped and never touched the last four. Stiff as fuck today with my left arm and hand turning some interesting colours, but it was ok nobody saw as I haven't had any mocking texts yet. I had to stop the Apple Watch dialling 999 and confirm that I had a fall and I was ok. . Of course my loving family laughed when I told them.

Yeah, shame it was dog rough. He also had a XS1100 US Custom but that looked like it had been in the sea.

I wanted to go to Liskeard to have a look at the Chequered Flag which was once a Cafe but is now a workshop as well that does a few bike sales as well. Bloody waste of time that was the Cafe was closed and the bikes were rough as. I spoke to the chap but he was pretty disinterested and more focused on assembling a Chinky AJS 125. They did have a tidy BMW R75/6 that I liked the look of but the rest was either crap or just not my thing.

A you can imagine Fowey and Polruan being either side of the same river has always had a bit of banter between them. To us on the righteous side we view them as Polly Roosters from Little Russia that the sun never touches before mid day. Anyway day off not raining so time for a bimble. First I caught the Bodinnick car ferry across the river. Fecking £3.70 one way. If you look up to the left you can see the latest Omaze raffle house. I think the whole town has bought a ticket for that. Apparently worth 4.5 million. If I win it will be sold quick smart. After 4.5 miles down single track lanes with grass and slippery shit in the middle I got to Polruan. It’s a beautiful little village that I have spent a lot of time in over the years. I was the Postie there in the 1990’s and the Mrs and I ran the Lugger Pub the for a short time. This is the other pub ran by a team mate from my old rugby club. After mooching around for a chat I headed off for Liskeard
  23. Well so far I have walked the dog, washed all the salt and crap off my Bike from yesterday and practiced stuff for choir, probably pisssing off the neighbours. Everybody's out so me and the dog are going to have a nap All the Best Tango I am glad you are on the mend.
  24. My Indian crap dealer was also my Honda dealer. I actually quite liked my Indian crap, but I do prefer the Honda
