You wouldn't believe it mate honestly gone completely nuts. Good example in the village that my Mrs comes from. Old run down cottage on the outskirts of the village. Knocked down and two large boxy wood covered monstrosities built on the plot. Both sold for 1.2 million each within days. Nice comfy 3 bd places but nothing outside apart from some parking and a small green patch. In Fowey, where I live, ex local authority houses are fetching £300,000. Sounds all well and good, my place is paid for, but my kids have very little chance of making a life here. Rents running £1000 to £1600 a month. I can see the town becoming a giant Air B&B in the next 10 years. It's no wonder the businesses down here struggle to find staff, nobody of working age can afford to live here and those that can' aren't gonna work for minimum wages.

Needed to get out for a bimble to clear my head so I headed west down to Lamorna Cove, like in the song. Only about 60 miles but I chose to go down the coast via Falmouth, Helston and then Penzance. Still packed out down here. Newly Wed and nearly Dead season now the Kids are back to school. Got the full bondage gear on my bike, well panniers and shoes at least. After Lamorna I traveled back through St Buryan to St Just. Where I happened on a rally of classic bikes. Then rode back through Trencom to St Ives.

Yeah that to, especially when wet. I had a Wolf Leather for years but got to big for that so bought the Richa I have now. I remember the dress code, 3/4 Boots with white socks, white wooly pully, white open face, leather and cut off. Levis with a fuck off great belt and buckle. cringe looking at those old photos.

I Still got a leather but I don't wear it often. Hot in the summer, cold in the winter. I love it though and will never get rid.

Wasn't a quality performance but streetwise, they won ugly but they won. The team looked like they actually wanted to be there and showed a lot of heart, you can forgive a lot if they do that. Bloody hell Pete that is a stretch. Most everyday peeps would come a very poor second to most professional fighters, doesn't stop them having an opinion. I thought Bruno was a robotic numpty in boxing terms (probably too harsh). Top likeable bloke and helluva athlete, who could rip a new one to a high percentage of British if not world Boxers of the time. Would I say so to his face of course not, for starters would be disrespectful and rude, and probably a risky thing to do. Personally I don't think all professional boxing is a farce, but it has always been a show as well as a sport and plenty of people have crossed the line into farce or incredulity ala the Fury's. Beterbiev is an impressive guy but at some point there will be a bigger better dog, there always is. Very few fighters walk away without meeting a better dog.
