  1. Fixed it She is only 17, she doesn't know anything about that sort of deviance. She is just an angry little young woman determined to get her own way in everything. He went out with his mates last night and she marched him home, forced him to drink pints of water and take paracetamol then threw him a pillow and blanket and told him to sleep quietly on the sofa. Poor little fucker isn't allowed to breath. And I don't know what she has told him about me cause he wont look and me in the eye.
  2. Tain't good enough for her now she wants a Sports Bike. Some how I have been roped into fixing the boyfriends bike now as well. I don't mind helping him out, he is a good lad, and she is Bullying the fuck out of him Me and the Mrs have been calling him "How High" cause he is jumping on her command.
  3. Took the CBF out for a 90 mile shake down today. Running sweeter than it ever has in my ownership. Also the forks are dry so the seals are holding, shouldn't have been in doubt but on the third attempt doubts creep in.
  4. This video demonstrates why I paid someone to do mine. The Video is of a Yamaha which is Bucket and Shim, my Honda is Shim and Bucket which I think is one step worse.
  5. Just to close this up I ordered two new stanchions from Wemoto. Both of the originals were just to rough so grasped the nettle and sorted it.
  6. Well after much polava the bike is now finished. The second set of fork seals I fitted also leaked and to be honest I sort of knew they were going to the stanchions were just to rough. So I bit the bullet and ordered new stanchions, bushes, oil and a third set of fork seals. Spent several hours fitting it all today. Dry so far but to be honest I will be completely flabbergasted if they leak now it is practically all new out of the box. Hopefully I won't have to touch much until the next oil service now in 5000 miles time. I was going to use my hydraulic cable oiler to do all the cables today but ran out of will in the end. Especially when I managed to blow a fuse changing a sidelight bulb. And guess what I have hundreds of fuses except for the right one for my fucking bike. Off to ebay in a minute. Will have another tinker around tomorrow to button everything up then thinking about a trip to Sammy Millers later in the week, maybe.
  7. I know they were shit high. Most of the bike was like that when I got it, I have been cleaning nooks and crannies for the year I have owned it. Nearly there now . Also part of the reason I got someone else to do it I know it was shit high in there.
  8. Got the bike back yesterday with all the new bearings fitted. Bike feels much better/quieter and steers well. Funny thing was I hadn't realised how much the steering was affected by the bad bearings. Because there wasn't any notch when riding I just didn't notice it deteriorating over time, but there was a noticeable notch when I put the bike on the main stand and moved the front wheel side to side. It feels much better now though and that may also be going from ball race to tapered bearings as well as the old bearings on their way out. Also had a good look at the old bearings, one of the fronts was noisey and two of the three backs were stiff to turn. So it was due time to change the lot.
  9. Busa found, rare high speed footage

That's no so bad given his age and the fact that your tribe lives in the equivalent of Gaza.
  12. I kept a couple of the better shots back so may very well be
  13. It is mate, there are parts of Bodmin moor that are practically never travelled, only 5 miles from the main road but unknown. I would love to live there, just so peaceful and quiet. . You would want a 4x4 though.
  14. Went out for a ride this morning, went to Damerells then Padstow and then followed the A39 (Atlantic Highway FFS) to Camelford then onto Bodmin Moor at Davidstow. Just a stunning place to be. Got lost for 30 minutes or so but knew it was all good when I found St Breward. Onto Blisland then down the A30 to Bodmin.

  20. There is a big scooter club in St Austell, they do pop along now and again. Do quite often see them out on the road.

I have always had an itch for one, I know it's old tech and my CBF is a better bike there is that hankering. I had a K100RS years ago and really liked it but it was just to heavy and tall for me, hence why I thought a K75S might be a better option. That one needs a few bits to make it an everyday but bike for around another £500 you would have a very useable retro or classic.
