  1. I'm voting for The Speed Triple, mostly for the smile, Sofia was so happy to be in proper motorcycling UK roads and it really shows in the picture.
  2. Gather around and take notice, this is the vote for Motorcycle Riders' 2023 Bike Of The Year, arguably motorcycling's most prestigious accolade. Marquez and Bagnaia don't even feature here, just to give you an idea of the caliber we're judging. Below you'll find our 15 entries, please vote on your favourite or feel free to play mind games as you'll be able to switch votes until 9PM on the 31st December. Voting for yourself is not gentlemanly, so don't be that guy. @boboneleg's Suzuki DR650SE, in the Col du Sommelier, in the Alps @Buckster's Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide, in Scotland: @Clive's Daelim S3 Advance 250, in England: @JustaPor's Honda CB500F, in Portugal @Marcel's Indian Challenger Limited, in Canada: @MooN's Triumph Tiger 800XC, in France: @ Pedro's BMW R1200GS Adventure, in Portugal: @Renegade's Kawasaki ZRX1200S, in Wales: @Saul's Honda CB750 Hornet, in England: @Sir Fallsalot's Beta Xtrainer300, in Wales: @Six30's BMW S1000R, in England: @Skippy's Yamaha FZ6N, in Spain: @Sofia's Triumph Speed Triple R, in Wales: @Specs's Honda XL750 Transalp, in Wales: @XTreme's Honda CB500X, in Spain:
  3. OK, submissions are now closed, I'll start the vote in a few minutes.
  4. 2023, I have been watching my parents get worse and worse, my mum with a mix of depression and loss of memory which worries me, and my dad although very driven is getting weaker with every month from ELA, he also disregards my wishes for the future and seems to create something else for me to worry with every year that passes. On that front, I am not optimistic for the future to say the least. I had a good trip out, to the UK with Sofia, which had its up and downs but overall ended on a high note and I'm glad I went. Had the chance to go on another trip to Morocco but ended up not bothering with it, a few work things had me fretting about impeding things that would ruin said trip but ended up not materializing, also just overall mental health wasn't where it should be. I ended up spending some time at my place and now the last weeks with Sofia, and all is good except I'm dreading getting back to reality and dealing with sad issues regarding the folks. Work was a mix of a market going downwards which put some pressure on me, sales average to low, it was ok but am now feeling like 2024 isn't going to be an average year if it starts like 2023 is ending. It seems like I'm also thinking of impending doom that will force me to look for an alternative. It's not been the dark year the previous paragraphs make it sound like, in fact 2023 felt like 3 years with one big trip and a few small ones around Portugal. Am trying to end the year feeling happy and looking forward to things.
  5. Sorry Marcel, you have to choose one. I’ll go with the Indian unless you post another picture or prefer the KTM, that one with the KTM is vertical and we need horizontal ones. I’d rather download them and change file names, so I don’t miss any again. Is that OK or too much bandwidth?
  6. I will chop it a bit so it gets horizontal, though, but nice one!
  7. Just curious, what's the little red thing on your license plate? Were you being naughty and is that a bit of tape?
  8. 15 so far, who knows how many more will be submitted, it's wild! Not too keen on the collage, but it's up to Pete.
  9. It's up to him, are you quite curious?
  10. What are you talking about? You've got 15000 followers, keep at it and it'll keep growing. Rewriting articles isn't very appealing content though.
  11. Just so you know, I´ll consider the last picture each person posts on this thread.
  12. WTF! Can you make it like I'm doing a wheelie on the beach while waving too? I think that would take it.
  13. Slacking on the job @boboneleg, what you getting the big bucks for?
  14. On similar news, 2024 inspections for bikes in Portugal were delayed to 2025. Inspection centres haven’t gotten training on bikes yet, either.
  15. How the hell did you add ground where there was no ground?
