Growing up in post WWII Britain I never heard any negativity towards Germans.....only the Japanese. It still persisted into the 70's when old guys would come up and say "I fought against the Japs in the war and people like you are buying Jap bikes". By the time the 80's came these people were driving Toyotas and watching Sony TV's of course!

Only once Terry......early in 2006 on Big Bird. I got totally lost up there......could hardly speak any Spanish and I didn't know where the fuck I was. No mobile coverage either. These were taken up there.....somewhere! I remember having to turn back round and retrace my steps to find my way back. I'd probably gone about 45 minutes north of Cazorla before I turned round.

I'm going to meet an old mate of yours from Carediff next week here in Spain.......Mark Walsh. Turns out he's a friend of Jane.....the Cardiff girl I did the site for! I spoke to him on the phone and he said he knew you from Pool! When he told me he used to have a bike but doesn't now......I said "Bottle gone then? Typical Carediff!"

Here's an idea1 Get the Gay Harley on a Recovery Truck when it breaks down next and get it dropped off at @Six30's place. He sticks it in his van, and then gets the van put on a car transporter headed for Spain. Then fly over and you can sit in the van with Six and drive the bikes round Spain! Sorted!

German made.....fine! German plates....you take your chances.

I just threw those dates out so nobody would suggest July and August Ray. They'd all end up in Casualty with heatstroke if they came then. @Six30 thinks he can hide away in aircon environments......but as you know, that's just not possible!

He's bottling out of the trip he tried to organise already!

I'd say some time around May/June or Sept/Oct would be ideal.
