Windows 10 and 11 are very good! No more blue screen of death and twice a year reinstalls.

Got to prevent her taking them back there........there's ho hope in that country. And she lives in the East......which is the thickos part that put the right wing government in place. Ruled by the Catholic Church and full of racists, bigots, homophobes and extreme right wing groups.

Munter update......apparently she's going off it in Madrid! They can't find a place for Jake in any school.......so that's giving her an opening to put her plan into operation. Which is to drag them back into that Polish ghetto! I've spoken to the British Embassy (cos he's a dual national) but they've advised me that the school has no obligation to provide a place until the child is 6. So he's a year away from that. I'm pursuing other options as well.......need to know basis and all that!

Midland Bank was my first job! I'm sure you'll be surprised to learn that I tended to be a bit of a loose cannon in those days! And after certain incidents (2 in Bristol, and 1 in Carmarthen) I ended up leaving them at the end of the year. By then I'd had a Lambretta TV175 and Vespa SS180. Jan 1972 I started working in the offices and stores at the Engineers Dept of the Council offices, and after various incidents I left there in Feb 1973. At that point I'd had a D7 Bantam, a 3TA Triumph, and a Suzuki 250 Hustler. I did actually work one day then at a Builders Merchants.......but got arrested the second day so couldn't really go back under those circumstances. Had to sell the Hustler to pay the fines! Which then led me to Currys in April 73.......so on the 18th I could go into the dealers and get a new Suzuki GT380J on HP. My first new bike! But after various incidents.........

That's very odd! My missus is a typical Tom Boy.......loves Power Tools and building stuff, and hates things like dresses, flowers, cooking etc. When she was a kid she used to get Barbie Dolls but all she wanted was Action Man figures!
