There was a break in the shitty weather today so I got out for a local ride around the Bristol channel and then back through Cheddar Gorge . Still plenty of water about ........ a pill near Woodsring Priory as it meets the Bristol Channel............ Burnbeck Pier looking very sad nowadays ............... The beach at Uphill , Weston-Super-Mare in the background............. Brean Down and Steep Holm in the background............ Pit stop ......... Cheddar Gorge . Can you see the goats on the ledge to the left ? Chew Valley Lake looking very full ............

So a bloke who rides a 125cc bike all the way from Australia to England, has taken groups from England to Scotland and to the Alps and back doesn't know what he's on about . He might have a northern accent but he's definitely not a 'puddle dodger'

Wales does have a certain amount of independence but I'm not going to try and explain about Great Britain or the United Kingdom or we could be here until next year . I've tried to explain to my wife's relatives in Italy and they didn't have a clue what was going on , even us who live here can't work it out half the time
