  1. The older you get, the faster they pass. Today....no plans. Tuesday....a.hour out to Asda. Wednesday...no plans. Thursday...hospital appointment. Friday.....doing nothing. Next weekend will be more of the same. Retirement is such fun.
  2. It reminds me of that when I turn it on, it is not worth the outlay for the few times I use it.....
  3. Yeh same price I was quoted, the Navisure cannot be updated, even when it was only a coiple of years old....I don't need either sat nav now, I did try using my phone once but the screen shuts down after a couple of minutes.
  4. Just looked on Tesco website........£1..49p...not gonna get much fuel on my monthly allowance, good job i don't go very far..
  5. I do have Garmin (don't know the model) sat nav, every time I turn it on it says maps need updating.. If I go down (like I am unlikely too ) the A1 onto the A14 it shows me as being in the fields about 50 metres from the present road...
  6. I have (in the shed) smallest screened sat nav know to man A Navisure.............the mounting bracket are long broken, thought about bodging it on the scoot, fook knows why as I know all the main roads within 50 miles of here. and I don't go that far.
  7. I think E10 was £1..45p per litre last time I put some in the car, hope it ain't gone up much.
  8. Before my time anyway......
  9. Do they still do knobbly knee contests?
  10. Going out tomorrow, need petrol in the car, it has been a while since I filled up, it must be 3 weeks at least .
  11. I go out every day. To the bottom of the garden and feed the rodents,
  12. Not got a tent (dont bloody want one )...hardly drink (lightweight me ) and can't hear the music, so I feel it may be a waste of my time.
  13. https://www.classicmagazines.co.uk/product/show/id/13?utm_source=newark&utm_medium=banner&utm_term=newark&utm_campaign=show Might give this a whirl.
  14. A bit late in life for me to start going to a rally. There is the Bikers Rock & Blues festival near here, seems expensive, and I don't like Rock or Blues.
  15. Never been to a rally, so I had no idea what the cost was... Like the Newark Autojumble, they called it a show, raised the admission price to £10, visitor numbers have fallen, so they have dropped the entrance fee, think it's £6 now. A few decent stalls there, the rest seemed to be selling rusty old crap, ok if you looking for a (rusty) trunnion flange to fit a 1955 Morris.
  16. I rode there the last time I went, it was a cold, wet miserable ride there and back. I much preferred the BMF show at Peterborough.
  17. NEC Motorcycle Live.....£31 entrance fee on the day ......Car parking £17..95p unless you book entrance tickets and car parking online, then it's £12......They know how to rip bikers off.
  18. You heard anything from Bustupbiker lately?...a couple of guys i know (vaguely) use to visit his place in the wilds of Wales. Not a bad morning here dry, sun trying it's best, and we have Mr & Mrs Bucket calling in later
  19. 1st few times went it was held in 3 halls, then dropped to 2, last time I went it was in just the one, I could find as good prices on bike gear at the local (ish) bike shops, and don't get me going on about the price of parking there £10 for the car, but go to the camper van show in another hall, free parking.
  20. Not at NEC level.....NEC bike show is now piss poor, and no concessions for old gits.
  21. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1055989225745972?s=yWDuG2&fs=e Found my next bike the exercise will do me good.
  22. Sloop John B....only one i know.
  23. Visited the place they (allegedly ) filmed some westerns when we were holidaying in Mojacar....it passed a couple of hours.
