  1. We have, they came about 2 months ago, they came, slopped on some foul smelling solution on all the visible mould around the windows and on the ceilings in all the rooms, and 2 months later it is back!. I am concentrating on the bedroom mould at the moment because wife wakes each morning with a bit of a sore throat.
  2. Looks a bit better, but for how long.
  3. That's just one corner!. got to empty and move a wardrobe to get to the other patch of mould, it's doing my bad back no good at all.

  5. I bought some wood preservation paint last year, after 1st coat it was Pink! luckily when it dried and soaked into the wood it turned brown. On a separate note, my double gates are not seized up through lack of use..opened quite easily
  6. That's what they said to my daughter, they said she would have to be referred to pediatrics by her doctor, which she has been now.
  7. Yeh..... QMC....King Mill.....Bassetlaw (Worksop) and Newark hospital ........QMC is a pain to get to from here though...
  8. She took her there a couple of weeks ago, just the usual advice "Give her some Paracetamol or Calpol, and go to your doctor".....A&E not equipped to make a diagnosis.
  9. No, it is our local hospital...King's Mill hospital.......if anything serious is found there then usually QMC takes over treatment..
  10. Since granddaughter started this my daughter has done (in my opinion) a good job of altering the kids diet, much, much less of the crap food, and less of fried stuff too, granddaughter does not drink milk or tea, she just drinks diluted drinks. Anxiety..possibly, she is not (as far as we can tell) bullied at school, but she is, how to put it, highly strung, makes a drama out of a crisis.....a very clingy kid too, with my daughter. Daughter just wants some answers, is it medical, or mental problem, it is doing our daughter no good being disturbed every night, then having to work a 8 or 10 hour shift after being up during the night for a hour or 2. Still think September is too long to wait.
  11. My daughter IS worried, every night granddaughter wakes her complaining of stomach ache/pain...daughter wants he checked, scanned, x rayed or looked at by a specialist........it need doing sooner...
  12. Yeh, privatisation.....
  13. Granddaughter (10 years old) was complaining of stomach ache, mostly during the night time, my daughter took her to the doctors, she did a brief examination and prescribed some meds, and said she would refer her to pediatrics, this was about 1 month ago Daughter has heard nothing, so she rang the pediatric department to be told the referral is on their system. Daughter asked "Any date for a appointment? " Reply?........September!!....the NHS is a bleeding disgrace...
