Those figures are frightening.............when I used to turn our outside light on with in seconds it would be swarming with bugs, recently very few. But houseflies still manage to end up in my cuppa when I sit outside.

I see plenty of small wild bees in our garden. But big ones (Bumblebee) are a rare sight.

Now you mention bugs, or lack of, I covered around 100 miles yesterday, and on the front of the scoot (it's white remember) I had 4 bug splats in total, and not one on my visor.

Thanks for the reminder we have a inflatable ring somewhere.

I am having my tea sat on the garden swing, where I may spend most of the morning till the swing ends up in the sun around midday. More of the same laziness this afternoon.

Pump buggered......tried my pump that I use for the car and scoot, but after 10 minutes of running it was getting very hot, and the pool had hardly inflated much.....

I was gonna say that I sort of miss my Chinky, but seeing at it died 6 months after I sold it I kinda dodged the bullet.

There is a Centre Parks a few miles from us, very few people from this area could afford to stay there.

We visited Clovelly (years ago) during the summer, it was mental, like Wembly turning out after a FA cup, got down to the harbour and we found the rest of the FA cup crowd..... We was not there for long.

I sent a few PM,s (about this place) and someone grassed me up to the admin........account was restricted (they wanted to vet anything I intended to post) on there.

Na.....restricted.... Still no sighting of Hogfather around these parts.

The Belcher is turning into Triggers broom. It's damn disheartening to own a bike that you can't use.

I am seriously considering getting shut of the scoot when it gets its new MOT in September, 300 miles in the last year, hardly seems worth the outlay.

No fear of my wife riding again, her gear (apart from her helmet and boots) does not fit her any longer.....so any rides for me consist of a couple of hours at the most, she should have learnt to drive years ago.

That's what millionaires do......the Jet set.
