Well I’m not happy about it. The majority of the windows here look out over Wales so I’ve looked at Wales everyday thinking ‘soon as this is over I’m going over to the steel horse for a cup of tea’
Steel horse is now closed permanently unless someone with deep pockets arrives on the sceneHeyho I’ll be sticking with a cup of tea and pasty in the car park for while whoop whoop my exciting lockdown life

Im in some lung study for science, they scan my lungs every year, someday i;ll be famous....
Henrietta Lacks died in 1951. HeLa cells are still in orbit today- literally they shot some into space (the mind boggles). Her cells are the first immortal human cell line and are still in use. Most recently used in working on coronavirus. How they got them and the legality of it’s a whole nother story but without them we wouldn’t have the vaccines and treatments we have today. So yeh one day you could be famous and immortal!- 1

So an LED bulb in a halogen headlamp is much brighter than it should be?

Sats of 93% that’s dance a jig level! Or don’t... definitely don’t ... enjoy those oxygenated cells

As things turned out over the years we now realise that we really dodged the bullet when we left in 2005.
These disasters seem to rear up, cause a lot of ‘woe is me’ and settle back down for a while before the next one rolls up!

Yer cheers.
Came to a decision a couple a few weeks ago that while the original plan may have gone out the window we will get there, I will make it happen oh yes. -
Can’t work out if all these beautiful pics of Spain make me feel better or worse!

Thanks for that and I’d appreciate the link if you can. Yours looks much better as it fits properly whereas mine is just thrown on and held in place with an elastic strap under the seat.
Here you go. Contact details at the top right of the page

I've got a Lambland sheepskin but mine is just a raw sheep which I sewed some elasicated straps too.
Raw sheep, that conjures up an interesting image

@Skippy Nice bike, not that I’m biased
A mate of mine got me a sheepskin seat cover from lambland for my himi. Might be worth looking up when your in the market for a replacement, lots of crazy colours, cut to shape and have a drawstring
If your interested I’ll find you a link. He can only do bikes he’s done before unless someone brings him a seat to make the pattern so if/when you ‘need’ one you’re in luck!- 2

Those oldschool mechanics could repair anything with whatever came to hand!
If it’s anything like the “whatever came to hand” repairs here the duct tape n bailer twine would always get you to the furthest point away from any help before breaking

You registered and posted straight away Lionel......over 800 posts in 2 months. Probably more than you've done on another forum during that period.
Oh god......I think I just dropped you in the shit!
You think he'll get away with this @Slowlycatchymonkey?
Hmm Well being likeable and inoffensive are marvellous traits that carry a lot of useable credits, if I liked a bet on the geegee’s I’d expect a survival rate of around 80% on that one. Not that I’m saying your a horse or anything @skyrider I’ve never seen you.... just heard the rumours

You still thinking of moving here Caroline?
It’s all up in the air. We’ll have to see what’s left of the business when the true financial cost of the C word is known.
It was in my hands before, rented a place in January was going out in March, tell god your plans- 2

We now have more mobility.....but only in the Granada province! And excluding those districts which have perimetral lockdowns in place.
So it's a bit odd really.....because I'd be allowed to go to certain areas, but not if I have to go through a perimetral lockdown area to reach it.
Which rules out visiting the abandoned railway station in Zujar-Freila......so I may go to Baul instead. And Tony the Tools is due to tag along as well!
But as for weather, it's looking great!
What you got planned?
Crying into my soup over your weather and heres.
If it wasn’t for the bastard coronavirus that weather would be mine!

The older generation Spanish mentality is a bit odd to me......cos if they buy a car or a bike they rarely sell it. It's for life!
Lots of countries are like that though aren’t they. In some countries it’s seen as grotesque to have new cars, flashy and ostentatious. French folk also hold onto their cars. Having a crumbling car is no indication of wealth, I quite like that. There’s a lot of car snobbery about here, the Hyacinth Buckets are alive n kicking- 2
