  1. I spent ages reading reviews for one of those that would reliable and small enough to leave on my bike on longer trips. Every single one had a percentage of crap reviews saying they are inaccurate and don’t last. Eventually I bought the one that had the least complaints about inaccuracy and breaking cos I saw it in the supermarket for €19 and had just had a hair raising ride on very underinflated tyres. Its excellent. So easy to use, portable and convenient. Do I trust it. Nope.
  2. More stealth taxes that don’t effect the rich only those who can’t afford it. Price the poor off the road.. better for the environment… fairer.. Fuck that. Tax the rich and not penalise the poor, most of us can’t work within the walking/cycling distance, many have had to “get on your bike and look for work” turns out that’s a lot further than you think (soz to anyone too young to remember that turd). Or maybe even make public transport free and appealing? Just a thought.
  3. Check the list for the last time they were signed in on is site. Bet it wasn’t an hour before the end of voting. Oh yes!
  4. Noooo aaargh. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I prefer mange.
  5. Its encoded but Pete has himself registered multiple times so….
  6. I’ve seen the pics, unless the gimp suits knocks off quite a few pounds I’d say he’s possibly innocent on this one
  7. Spect you pack to go on holiday or go on jollies. Most of the population does, it all involves packing and travelling. Just once I’ve properly unpacked here that’s it for the year, everything wanted or needed is in place. Extricating yourself from your home life and keeping everything running smoothly is complicated. It’ll be worth it in the long run. Some things worth having don’t immediately bear fruit, they require putting in the time and doing the work. This is one of those things. I’ve already booked the tickets back out here
  8. Yer. The tailbag clicks on and off easily, doesn’t obstruct the panniers being opened. It’s easy to remove your valuables and comes with a strap so you can put it over your shoulder, then your hands are free for taking pics… if you take ride pics..
  9. No chance. Haven’t finished unpacking n setting everything up and Mr Slowly leaves tomorrow, then I leave the next day. So I have to unpack.. and pack
  10. Going to be a pleasant 23 degrees today.. with a ‘feels like’ of 27
  11. Cheers. It has worked really well. It’s my only transport over here so I needed a good boot sized capacity so I can do a large shop or bungee something big on the back. With the luggage combos available I don’t need a car and can get that extra pack of beer It was excellent on the boiling hot ferry vehicle deck too. Just unclipped it and walked away. Still think it looks a bit of a state though
  12. You’re dandy Marcel. Pretty entertaining. As Pete always says it’s the intention that matters and your posts never have any malice in them, saul goodman
  13. Urr lost your licence and your livelihood unless you’re ridiculously disciplined
  14. You’ll miss it cos of what it’s done for you but until that fat trust find kicks in (or you become a fat pol with a soft father in law ) then it’s currently so the right move.
  15. Jeezus that’s good my Bandits a thirsty bugger. Unreliable fuel gauge but closer to 150 max before you start wondering how much fuel you really have left!
  16. Thought you might. Harley guys like bike bitches… of any description.
  17. I don’t think there’s an universally understood measure. Bit like when incandescent bulbs lost favour n halogen n led took over and the brightness descriptions were all over the place. If they ever truly get to grips with the force available instantly (and I’m mean feckin instantly) I suspect they’ll eventually redefine the laws accordingly. For example you might only be doing 40 but the time it took to get there could missile style wipe out anything in its path. If you get my meaning.
  18. The more likely outcome. Speed (not the drug, that stuff sucks) is my weakness!
  19. But then a little trip to the dealers for a test ride couldn’t hurt could it
