  3. Not a full blown drag bike no but I will be lengthening the swingarm, road legal shinko hook up drag radial,2step ignition, slave cylinder support bracket and heavy duty springs and new plates, I have the front strap and rear drop links That will keep it road legal but drag biased
  4. Happy new year mate, enjoy your evenings all Happy new year to the whole forum
  5. Yeah i sent my cg125 down the road 6 days after riding, then nothing till my big 1 at 6 months of riding, then my second bike i sent it down the road a few times so at his age I too was abit of a numpty on the bike. Hopefully he continues to treat shadow right and gets through the youth stage on bike
  6. You never know, he is 19 and dumb as a rock but I can’t claim to have been much different at his age. To my knowledge he has been down 3 times in 2 years. I can’t claim to have been much different at that age. He treats Shadow right and I genuinely like him so I hope he gets through. Shadow won’t let him hang with the numpties anymore so that is a positive. She bollocks him about bad riding
  7. Thank you everyone, I will put the picture of my bike up shortly.
  8. Had a nice dinner with Sofia, and now settling in from if the TV to see some Youtube Dakar broadcasts and drink a little whiskey. Happy New Year to all!
  9. Congratulations @Saul, BOTY!
  10. No but seriously are you planning to turn the busa into a full blown drag bike ? So your not riding it anymore..?
  11. I just hope i can make to next year, at the Moment looks like the lad is about to through me out now his Mum has gone and the house will be his. anybody UK want milling machine Lathe band saw and Bench drill...the later has not drilled a hole yet...i will be buggered if i leave them for him i will cut them up or give them the scrap man first... No bull offer. PS: i would like 3grand for the lot but: Ow! just remembered..Also 500kl bike lift goes up vertically not in an arc..drybollic with small compressor for locks..
  12. My plan for this year is a full season of rwyb at santa pod getting ready for bracket racing in 2027
  13. Is he one of those who's tyres cant keep him upright? If so I think he should look at how he's riding before he runs out of his 9 lives, and hopefully long before he does something big
  14. Earth connection was the first thing I looked at, injectors are new, loom is the original and the bike ran (briefly and like a tractor) before I pulled it apart. Continuity, where I can check it is fine. They are crank position sensors, two of them, at 0 and 180 degrees from memory when I pulled the cover off. Depending on how long I spend at the pub tonight I will have a look tomorrow and see what sense I can get from them as Ian suggests with a magnet. I assume I’m looking for a gradual change 0-12v across the signal and ground ( there are 3 wires) ?
  15. Prolly not, his problem if he gets stopped. Shadow’s, is that’s all that concerns me.
  16. You jumping on the band wagon too
  17. Let's start with the basic numbskull...before he starts waving around magnets on a magic wand ...
  18. What sensor are you checking ? Crank sensor ? I imagine you've already checked the injector for 12v and ground ?
  19. surely that front L-plate is not legal?
  20. If you find the specs of the sensors you can make them easily enough. They are a very simple and readily available semiconductor device. You can test them with a multimeter, just power up the circuit then look for a fluctuation in voltage when you run a magnet near them.
  21. Will that be before or after the flounce?
  22. Well it might be not about wild predictions, but more like what you all have in plan for 2026...for me I've got to take my health more seriously and start exercising.., id love to try to make it to sturgis this year , it should be a 2 week journey or possibly more...something I've never attempted before...being on the road for that long...
