I installed a Barnett clutch in my XS 400R & also in one of my Seca 550's....they worked awesome ...absolutely loved 'em.
- Today
-
A couple of blokes was it?
-
Fitted a Baker heavy duty clutch throw out bearing today. See here! It increases clutch disengagement and is supposed to slightly increase the lever pressure but I can’t feel any difference, it was a preventative maintenance job as stage 2 puts a lot more load on the clutch and the bearing tends to fail. Next job is the Barnet extra plate clutch kit as the clutch slips under power in fifth and sixth now.

Me and Mandi met a couple with those NC750s on the Chunnel some time ago. They'd had them a year and said they kept making ride plans as they loved them.
-
Went up to Damerells to have a peak at the new CB1000GT. Very nice too. I was with Steve and Martyn. I think Steve has found his new bike.

Well the count down for sturgis has begun...really hope the weather stays good...and the air quality improves...lot's of forest fires at the moment in Canada...

'A man went to confession Father', he confessed, 'it has been one month since my last confession. I had sex with Fanny Green twice last month.' The priest told the sinner, 'You are forgiven. Go out and say three Hail Mary's.' Soon thereafter, another man entered the confessional. 'Father, it has been two months since my last confession. I've had sex with Fanny Green twice a week for the past two months.' This time, the priest questioned, 'Who is this Fanny Green?' 'A new woman in the neighborhood,' the sinner replied. 'Very well,' sighed the priest. Go and say ten Hail Mary's. At mass the next morning, as the priest prepared to deliver the sermon, a tall, voluptuous, drop-dead gorgeous redheaded woman entered the sanctuary. The eyes of every man in the church fell upon her as she slowly sashayed up the aisle and sat down right in front of the priest. Her dress was green and very short, and she wore matching, shiny emerald-green shoes. The priest and the altar boy gasped as the woman in the green dress and matching green shoes sat with her legs spread slightly apart, but just enough to realize she wasn't wearing any underwear. The priest turned to the altar boy and whispered, 'Is that Fanny Green?' The bug-eyed altar boy couldn't believe his ears but managed to calmly reply, 'No Father, I think it's just a reflection from her shoes'.

Oil plug size is 8mm...not sure if 1mm would have done the trick....he really bored out the treads...maybe 10mm... 9mm tap is kinda of a odd size around here...mine jumps from 8 to 10...
-
Another option, go up 1mm on the bolt size and cut the new thread. No drilling that way.
- Yesterday
-
It has to be a drainage hole...so running and insert or heli-coil covering the hole...im guessing part of the engine case won't fully drain when he does the next oil change....think it only holds like 1l of oil...
-
Got another pic...before pulling out the detached threads...threads are covering half of the hole...

Oh! And I highly recommend the kid to get himself a torque wrench, cause like bus"ster" he's got no clue what his doing...lol Found a new nickname for Buckster... "" Busster"""
-
Clearly I have more experience working on tractors than you have...lol.
-
Honestly if the bike would have been a few years old..I might have risk it...the frigen thing is only a few month old...and just found out that the Yamaha dealer only has heli-coils to repair the thing...not the best to repair a oil plug...
-
The day I ask a potcher like you for help will be a cold day in hell.
-
If I need help with that, I’ll ask you which mechanic I should go to.
-
Go check your oil on your Triumph...lol.
-
Here you go again with that black guy...the fellow who asked me on a private channels how to put the new cam chest together....now Im regretting helping you out...
-
Long story short: Your sons friend asked you for help fixing a thread on an oil plug, being a master mechanic you sent him to a dealership.
-
Just because you installed brake pads on the hairdresser mobile ...doesn't make you and expert...
-
Is that because it's true?
