Conger is very meaty, usually used for fish stews.
-
Agree..but that was hot for 1994....let's see one of yours from 1994..lol
-
Bet it wouldn't. Went for Nutes pic. But I could change my mind later
-
You still going on about this?
-
I've gone for @Marcel's KTM . If he wins it might stop all the inane shite for a while .................
-
That tache is gayer than a night out with Freddie Mercury .............
-
I think the 'Bantam' name is a bit of a mistake as they have nothing in common with the original Bantam. I'm sure there are ;ots of other names they could have used , B31 & B32 for example 185kg ??? and why does it need a 150 section rear tyre ? . It does look the part though but then again I think the Honda CB350 looks better
-
Well the disc pads did not turn up from Amazon .... said...... Claim your refund here.............needed the pads for scoots MOT next week, better cancel the MOT....Bugger!.

I've caught Conger in the past but never eaten it . I like the look of those Riscado , we call them Red Snapper.

I stopped sledding in 03...just before I bought the 950... Things were getting crazy...with drinking mostly...after 1 fatality and other 1 with brain injury..had to be put in a nursing home...how ever hard I tried to stop drinking and sledding..I just couldn't...figured it was just a matter of time before my number would be called...so I sold the dam thing..
-
surely you must want his dog chair ...............
-
Ya every little secret trick was used to get and edge on another sled ...like running automatic transmission fluid in the chain case instead of gear oil...lol....constant tickering with clutch setting..to cams..to springs...even made customs rams with a dip cut into them...it would act like a stall convert on a automatic car transmission...lol...great years and memories...lol.
-
The following year the other manufacturers had caught on ( 2022) with the track length...all of the big bore sleds had a similar models running...Cat had the mountain cat 1000 triple...but those were the last years of the triple..like dinausor they went extinct not long after...mostly cause of the front end weight...compared to a twin...

Video and/or a timing slip or it didn't happen.
-
It does depend to some extent on the point at which the bike is able to produce max power, because it will be a specific rev range, and the riders ability to keep it in that max power band whilst working up through the gears…tho if it’s 0-60 yours prob easily does that in first gear
-
It’s good stuff when done right with just salt. A nice salad, corn bread, chilled crisp wine, I’m missing it.
-
I can only imagine what kind of bullshit story Rich going to come up with...that his busa is faster off the line than a sled...lol.
-
Lol...im agreeing at 100% .. Anyway the sled had at the time...I was low on 140 ish hp...actually had 163 hp...
-
It always depresses me how poor a choice of fish we get here in most places. The supermarkets have cod, salmon, mussels and two or three other things whereas you go to a shop in France or elsewhere in Europe and they have a choice of 25 things half of which I’ve never seen before. I just buy stuff at random when I’m there, just to try it. I do love sardines or sea bream cooked on a grill.
-
Sofia’s got a kitchenaid that would destroy that Busa as well. It’s orange!
-
@busabeast...by the way...my 2001 snow machine would have destroyed your busa ...

Went to the market today, to buy some grouper for dinner tonight. Took pictures while waiting for my fish because I know @boboneleg appreciates a nice market. A nice looking conger, I had to look up the name as we call them Safio. Black swordfish from the deepest waters of Madeira, and mackerels: Sardines are great this year, sadly too smelly to cook inside at home and ray
-
No that was because it was you not because of your sled
