I have several times, especially when I was younger. As teanagers we all used to hang at Polmear Cafe. One wet day I had to go, in my dads work gear yellow leggings and donkey jacket. I had a Suzuki TS185, I jumped up high to kickstart it in true moto crosser fashion, as we all did for no reason back then, only for my foot to slip off the kickstart and it to shoot up the inside of my nanaman leggings and stop me putting my foot down as I slowing fell over to the right with momentum. Of course all my mates were watching and cheered. Bastards. By the time I got out from under the bike one twat had written 6.0 on two sheets of A4 in Olympic gymnastic style and was holding it up to the window. Of course the piss was takenmfor weeks after

Its a bitumen sprayer so it's classed as mobile plant according to everyone as work, its the reason we're not on tacho regs, and also apparently its not regulated by cpc as none of the other drivers have an up to date cpc, I must say I am dubious about it all and would think it should be regulated like a standard hgv

Have you ever crashed your bike while riding, but almost at a standstill? Many years ago I did ...riding to work ...I was wearing the usual bike gear (helmet, jacket and gloves) except for jeans and a pair of Para boots. I was coming to a stop at the traffic lights, I was almost stopped, i put my foot down and the loop of the boot lace got caught on the sidestand, making it impossible for me to put my foot on the ground, and over I went! I did it in front of some people waiting to cross the road, they laughed they found it hilarious, me? Not so much... Gathered myself up, and the bike too, no damage to either the bike or me....it was the slowest crash I ever had up to then. Any of you done anything silly like that. ?

It isn’t classed as plant if it is materials delivery, that only applies to excavators, road rollers, cranes etc..

February Poll Ends 28th February at 23:59. If I am still doing BOTM in March I will start the submission thread on the 23rd of March and then start the vote on the 29th to end on the 31st @23:59. Wasn't able to be that organised this month as it was all a bit short notice but this will be the pattern from now on. Take note and get snapping

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY BY PAM AYRES The missus bought a Paperback, down Shepton Mallet way, I had a look inside her bag;... T'was "Fifty Shades of Grey". Well I just left her to it, And at ten I went to bed. An hour later she appeared; The sight filled me with dread. In her left hand she held a rope; And in her right a whip! She threw them down upon the floor, And then began to strip. Well fifty years or so ago; I might have had a peek; But Mabel hasn't weathered well; She's eighty four next week!! Watching Mabel bump and grind; Could not have been much grimmer. And things then went from bad to worse; She toppled off her Zimmer! She struggled back upon her feet; A couple minutes later; She put her teeth back in and said "I am a dominator!!" Now if you knew our Mabel, You'd see just why I spluttered, I'd spent two months in traction For the last complaint I'd uttered. She stood there nude and naked Bent forward just a bit I went to hold her, sensual like and stood on her left tit! Mabel screamed, her teeth shot out; My God what had I done! She moaned and groaned then shouted out: "Step on the other one!!" Well readers, I can tell no more; Of what occurred that day. Suffice to say my jet black hair, Turned fifty shades of grey!!

It is something i try to avoid nowdays...

I’m sure it wouldn’t be the first time you had a wet arse.

That maybe so, I want/need the new lamp 1st, don't want to bust the one that is in at the moment, I would have to put gaffer tape over the hole if i was not able to refit the non functioning light, i would end up with a tailgate full of water.
-
It looks like it depends on the year, some are saying you can get a flat bladed screwdriver into the right hand side and lever it out.
-
I did remove the trim, there are 2 holes which are directly behind the light, I can see in there and there are no screws, or what appear to be clips. I think @Catteeclan,s suggestion that the light unit just clips into the cut out in the tailgate, and needs levering out.... but as I say, I will most likely (definitely ) bust it in the process of removal, I will order a new one, which may give me the solution as to how it is fitted into the tailgate..
-
I did a quick search and it looks like you have to remove the trim piece that the light is housed in first which if it like the one in the video runs fully along the top of the rear hatch. Good thing is that pattern part lights are available for under £20.

They are saying its fine because we're classed as plant... I have my suspicions its just shite

Wow....I remember doing days like that. I had 1 particular year where I cranked out 650 hrs. in OT alone. Didn't take me too long to figure out that 50 hrs./week was optimum. Otherwise I was wasting my time working mostly just for Uncle Sam....& he's got more than enough of my earnings.

No, you are 100% breaking the law and if you are caught you will lose your CPC.
-
You should move to Canada...Canada is recruiting foreigners to join the army...

Sadly it did.... after less than 4hrs sleep , I am absolutely shattered with the farce they call a rota at this job, and now im triple stacked for jobs tomorrow, in the yard for 4.30am to get to Northampton for half 7, then another job straight after at 1pm then a job tomorrow night at 8pm... I dont have any details as to how long each of the jobs will take me or when I'll get a break... I dont even think its legal given we're meant to have 11hrs rest between shifts
-
Yeh it's LED, I am not expecting that I can fix/repair/bodge it, just want to be able to remove it for when I have a replacement to be fitted...
-
If it hasn't been moved for a while the gasket between can stick assisting the busting process so go carefully. If I remember right they're led and common for failing.
-
After visiting my wife in hospital I thought I would take a look at the car. The high level brake light does not illuminate, took a gander at it, can I see how to remove it!, can I hell as like, no visible screws, looked on YouTube, it says there are 2 Torx screws?..so where the hell are they? Part 2 of the job tomorrow, I bet I bust it.

Cheers Mate, sounds like a Triumph 855, quite a mechanically noisy engine but that's how they all sound . Compared to my Honda's it's like a Thrashing machine next to a Sewing machine but I have gotten used to the contrast now I know it's supposed to be like that I have listened to quite a few first gen Hinckley triples over the last few months.
