  8. My last night in Cork tonight, but this is definitely my vibe! Tomorrow will be leaving my friends here to sleep near Rosslare, and the following morning hopping on the ferry to Spain. The plan now is to barely put a foot down in Spain and head straight to Portugal for dinner with @Sofia

And I've engaged on Chat gdp...lol.. it can be easily defeated at the moment.. all you need is a feedback loop question that it answers wrong and the circuits starts overheating fast...lol. Have you tried @Buckster ?

Think the future is looking kinda bleak at the moment..and if cold fusion comes online before we completely understand what AI is...be ready for a mass extinction even....and don't say I told you so...
  18. Me too , it's been talked about doing it in the Bristol Channel for more than 60 years but it doesn't go any further .
  19. FFS, just spent ages typing a reply and it’s vanished. Last year the UK got over 50% of our electricity from renewables ( yes I know windmills and solar panels or whatever use energy to make ), but it’s got to be the way to go. Spewing less shit into the air we breath, wherever it comes from is a good thing. The less gas we have to buy from Putin and Trump the better. Im currently talking to a farmer down the road from us about growing maize that he can put into his fermenting tank thing for generating electricity. He grows maize and feeds it into a digester tank thing he runs and he supplies enough power for about 1500 homes. It’s not a choice based on “eco” anything for us, it’s a way of hopefully limiting the losses we make some years on growing wheat and other things. One of the biggest positives for us is that the sludge that comes out of the digester thing is used as next years fertiliser. The cost of fertiliser is horrendous and our lovely govt is slapping a tax on it next year just to make breaking even as a farmer a bit more difficult. Im always surprised the UK doesn’t do more with tidal, we have plenty of opportunities. But im sure the eco mob would be moaning that the fecking billions of seagulls we have here might not like it.
