  1. Today
  2. Audience looks a bit thin ...
  3. 25th, so a bit over 2 weeks, I will be 61 I still feel about 20 in my head. My back aches, ankle is a bit knackered, shoulder aches due to a pinched nerve in my neck, half of my right leg is numb, so my body doesn't quite feel 20. ... but according to my wife I act like I'm about 12 most of the time.
  4. Looking nice, get a water fixture and it’ll be very “Mr, Miyagi”!
  5. I don’t think it could. But there are worse looking bikes, at least it’s not trying hard to look like a Harley.
  6. Fence completed, that’s the garden nearly done now .
  7. I quite like the look of these although most don't. I was just thinking upright seating wide bars and that little gem of a motor doing 80/90mpg, perfect little back road ride.
  8. Mines the 17/9. 60 then
  9. Perhaps the 1100 Rebel could be an option for you
  10. Really looking 4ward to getting to our reserved campsite this afternoon...friends we're camping with already secured it. Packed up the truck yesterday...decided to take the Manual...Mongoose mtn. bike, since I haven't thrown a leg over it for awhile. Just gotta pack up 2 coolers, collect the dogs & we're gone!
  11. Happy birthday for 2 weeks time..
  12. The thunder and lightning always seems to skirt round us. It’s the only upside of going to see the in-laws in Florida, they have some really good storms. I was standing in the porch way watching a really good thunderstorm a few years back and lightning hit the ground just the other side of the garden fence. I nearly shat myself.
  13. Same here, in two weeks time .
  14. I don’t think it’s that bad.
  15. There is something a bit broke back about it.
  16. It sure is busy down your way
  17. I reckon it's the ugliest bike Honda have ever made
  18. Fabulous!... I really like a good thunderstorm, but they nearly always miss this area around us... Dry, sunny and about 22c here, sat in the garden having a cuppa......waiting for the biscuit bandits to arrive....
  19. It's absolutely pissing down here Clive, thunder and lightning, the whole 9 yards.

    What Next?

I don’t think so, no. The thought of having to lube a chain again is annoying even before I have to do it. But that bike isn’t meant to be for me. I haven’t ridden one yet, but at 230kg wet I’ll be surprised if it feels more agile than my bike.

    What Next?

That 1200XE is a bloody big bike. I know you are used to that sort of thing but are you ready to ditch the shaft?
  22. Pedro

    What Next?

The problem is that she knows it!
