Look on YouTube, there is a video on there, it is easy enough to remove the tub to gain access.
-
Maybe just my scoot.......I just remove 4 nuts and the tub pulls out and all the engine is easily accessed..... best of luck.
-
It's looking very nice now, great transformation! I can't unsee that it looks like it's pretending to be a Harley once you cover it:
-
I watched that video and thought it would be just about doable……….not a chance of getting the plug cap off without damaging it. I’ll investigate further tomorrow but if all else fails then yes, I’ll have to dismantle the bloody bodywork to remove the seat tub and gain access to the spark plug. Twating thing.
-
It's a super bike so speed is relative. What I liked was the cop messing with them
-
Spark plug replacement is fiddly, but doable......on my scoot I remove the under seat tub to get to the spark plug, don't know if you can do it on yours, which make it a doddle to do. https://youtu.be/uyKZ0jsiRvk?si=6_TshItbNecWLXB_

Spent the best part of the day servicing the scooter………apart from the spark plug. Utterly ridiculous to make it almost impossible to get at…….then stumbled across a YouTube video late on which offers a solution so I’ll investigate tomorrow. ………….and here’s the air filter that I took out. Probably the original from 2006

Def nice place to see but I don’t think I need to see it at that speed any more

It’s a 10 footer mate, but presentable. I bought it to ride although I have enjoyed getting it the way I like. Problem is I have got the T300 bug now and have been fantasising about a Daytona 1200.
-
That's looking pretty smart now @Saul
-
Out for a walk with Paolo and the neighbours dogs. Stopped for a coffee so parked my leg up for a while.........

Got the Sprint all back together today and clean with everything working so it’s time to ride. I’m happy with it cosmetically now, still loads to do but that will come in time. The thing I am most pleased with is the passenger grab handles. Makes it so much easier to put the bike on the main stand. I reckon I have spent around £200 so it now has cost me £710, whether that is a bargain or not is yet to be seen but I am going to get a 1000 miles on it first before I plan to do anything else. That maybe famous last words but we shall see, depends if it breaks or not. I believe the bike has been serviced in the last 1000 miles as the oil, coolant and brake/cutch fluid is clean. It starting well and sounding sweet, charging well also. Tyres are good but I am suspicious of the forks seals. Hint of misting about them but I will monitor them. I have new ones on the shelf for when they are needed. put to bed for the night.

You are very lucky living where you do. I’d be out shooting and fishing every damn day if I lived there.
