I'm curious as to how you guys clean or treat your jackets and pants to keep them waterproof. I have had poor luck with it so far, but I think the sun and dryness affect the stuff I wear a little more than you guys.

No, as above like deer, rabbits, boar, pigeons or such. I’d rather eat a deer or a rabbit which has had a relatively natural life than a supermarket chicken which has lived 6-8 short and shit weeks. I shoot and eat both - they need controlling, and I do it as humanely as I possibly can.

Two years later, and after a few times of having wild boars sniffing at her front door trying to get in and she's was on best terms with her neighbor and gets the ocasional boar leg as a thank you for asking him to come to her farm and clear them out The number of restaurants serving wild boar meat in rural Portugal is impressive, lately.
