Im almost finished with the insulation, installed a roof hatch in case I have to run electrical wires eventually... My Harley is leaking hydraulic oil , had a look underneath, its leaking above the engine and transmission, can't really see anything unless I remove one of the rear tires and possibly the rear fender....the side fuel tank hides everything from sight... Turns out the manufacturer warranty expires this Oct...so a tec from the dealer is in the area today , he's gonna have a look at it , if it can't be repaired on site , it will have to be trailler to the shop....150 bucks one way...

We're you there?

Do you think young boys were harmed and possibly midgets ?
-
Car checked over for tomorrow's epic journey oil, water and tyre pressures checked, and it has a tank full of E10... Weather forecast is still reasonable too as long as it is dry there it will be OK for us.

Dinky car test driver you mean He couldn’t handle the power of Scalextrics
-
I am sure she would, I will get the original motor sorted, as far as I know it’s just the one bearing that’s gone. The new motor is for me when I finally get what’s left of the bike back in the future.
-
probably all deserved ..most short blokes have a chip on thier shoulder.. is it true @Marcel you used to do a lot of test driving for Scalextric ...
-
He’s not the shortest guy you’ll meet, but he’s short. Let’s not make fun of him, he’s probably had enough of it in real life.
-
so how short is he then ? would he get in a panto as one of the seven ?
-
Why not put the spare engine in, and rebuild the original one to 175cc and give it some attitude? She’d love that!
-
Now, Paul, someone was supposed to ask you: we’re not supposed to make fun of @Marcel for being really short. So please, regardless of how short he is, don’t make fun of him as he likes to think he’s really tall!
-
im surprised you haven't got one.

-
That was before the service.

Well finally got to the bottom of the rattle, nothing to do with the cam chain in the end. It was the bearing which in the inlet rocker runs in, the bearing broke down and opened up the inlet valve clearance intermittently. . I had to give up and take the bike to my trusted guy who found it. He is going to strip the parts from my spare engine tomorrow to get Shadow back on the road as the bearing we need is on back order. So I am going to put an order in for that bearing and sort my spare engine again so that it is ready to go back in when I get the bike back in the future. I not saying I wouldn't have found it, it's just if I started the job the pressure would have been on to get it done and I am not a mechanic and like to do things slowly to get it right, rather than fuck things up by rushing while I was learning to do it.

25th, so a bit over 2 weeks, I will be 61 I still feel about 20 in my head. My back aches, ankle is a bit knackered, shoulder aches due to a pinched nerve in my neck, half of my right leg is numb, so my body doesn't quite feel 20. ... but according to my wife I act like I'm about 12 most of the time.
