Well parts are on the delivery bus...only thing missing is the fuse box cover...ordered some special washers and bolts that hold some plastic in place and the water pump kit... the previous owner must have lost some at some point...probably trying to figure out why it wasn't starting ...it will be completely original to the last bolts and washer again...

He learned everything from me...and is a master sledge hammer operator...lol. Think most likely they wanted someone younger and would be around for wyll....he has a good temperment for it...and they could mold him to their system I guess...older guys are hard headed and don't like being told how to do things...including myself...

As long as he is a better mechanic than you, not that it would be possible to be worse.

Haven't taken Jean's older 03 vmax for a test spin yet...weather been horrible pass few days...windy and cold...we had frost lastnight...

Anyway boys im pretty well stoked at the moment knowing the fruit of my loins will be molding the minds of youths for the next 30 years or so...lol. Thinking back it wasn't easy at time , but this makes it all worth wyll at the end...all that Im missing now is grandkids...

Really wasn't expecting this at all...he mentioned that he was applying for the job about a month ago , has he was going against older guys with more experience thought his chances were slim to say the least, has he's only writing his final exam in 2 weeks..lol , he's not even a red seal technician yet...lol....must have made a real good impression with the teachers and on the interview...has they contacted him a day after the job interview to tell him he got the job...work conditions are excellent...summers off...all the holidays..pension...not to mention the pay increase compared what he was making at the Kia dealership...

Guys were paying ridiculous money for those things back 15 to 20 years ago...he'd be lucky to get 8 or 9 Canadian funny money for it now....think the fellow in question paid 25 and that's some year's ago...
