I ran inland for about 50 km or so before turning around...you can actually run across the Gaspe penusila and come out on the st Laurence sea way...on these dirt roads...we are still limited by the temp still..around 6 pm the temp takes a nose dive still...few pictures from that forestry road..used to haul lumber..

I wish at times I had better tires for these roads...got a little scruly at time when you get off the path and you catch loose gravel...but I run the thing 90% of the time on pavement...

Nice one Marcel, those gravel roads look ace for a bike like yours and those crystal clear streams are ace :classic_cool:

You choose what you prefer. I am using Mitas E07+Dakar. They're very good as a mix tire, they'd be WAY better on those roads than what you're using, while still being comfortable and quiet (no humming like on a proper knobby) on the motorway and smooth when cornering in tarmac, but if you push them properly and go fast they'll get "scruly" like yours do except on tarmac. I might just have found my ideal tire.

Plus they aren’t gay tires like @XTreme's tires

They’re very hard. I chose them to go to Morocco because they’re almost bulletproof since they’re such a hard compound, this also makes them quite long lasting. Last set lasted 10.000 miles and there was a bit to go on the rear, the front still had plenty, but that had a long Morocco trip with touring pace. Probably I’ll get less on this set that will get some faster tarmac use, still they’ll last more than the average road oriented tire because they’re just not as good on the road.

Only pussies care that they’re not rated for fast speeds or rain.

Just checked how long this set are on and I doubt the rear will last 7000 miles. Still better than most sporty road tires for trailies, and they’ll handle this 😎 :

I'd be curious to see what kinda millage I'd get out of them....to get to anuwheres close to these dirt roads I'm looking 150k ..so 300k. Round trip on highway at 120kmp...being that the bike is relatively light...it just chew up the rear tire...
