The latest results of the Ministry's half-yearly inquiry into the earnings and hours of manual workers show that in April, 1967, the average weekly earnings of adult male manual workers covered by the inquiry were £19 2s.

In  NZ in the early 70's it cost about 60 weeks pay for a CB 750, in 74 I came to Australia and one cost me 10 weeks pay, I notice that the Bonnie would have cost 15 weeks pay.
