..but more of a "drive" report as it's too sloppy, cold  and shitty out to ride yet. But it was about 1C today and bright Sun, so took the wife out for a cruise in the neighborhood....

When I left Lincoln Nebraska Saturday morning last week it was below freezing. When I drove through there yesterday (afternoon) it was 80 degrees. In two weeks you'll probably be worrying about heat stroke on your way to Texas.

I freakin' hope so ! It's been a long, cold, snowy winter and I'm ready for it to be over. But I know we'll get hammered with 12'+ snow again at least once in the next 1-2 months.

Great pics Eric!

Are those Lodges closed throughout the Winter?

Lots of them out there - sitting abandoned with no one in them. Don't see a lot of people in them in the summer, either. I guess they're just rotting away.

As I've said before, wooden buildings are something you just don't see here.

Makes sense as you don't have any forests - I mean comparatively.

Your right Pete not a common sight here, however i grew up in a timber house, my father bought it in kit form and built it himself  he moved in when i was born so it's 55 years old now. The land it's built on and the house itself cost around £3000 back then
