Buckster Posted Sunday at 14:48 Share Posted Sunday at 14:48 Those are CBX 550/750 colours, strange choice.
Buckster Posted Sunday at 15:03 Share Posted Sunday at 15:03 I took a quick ride out to The Cove at South Queensferry after church, there were a few bikes there, it absolutely pissed down just after I walked into the cafe so everyone ducked inside until it stopped, it’s a great place, there was much banter, the sun came back out and the rounds of tea started flowing, had a burger followed by a good cigar before heading home. It is currently trying to rain again.

Yeah it doesn't look right, especially with the red frame and black Honda Badge. Judging by the side panels it is a CBX F2 without the fairing. I know it sounds daft but the bike actually looked quite diminutive next to more modern stuff. Still one lump of a motor though.

Pretty sure that was called the Super Sport and later the Pro Link, the latter was US market only if I recall, still never came with the HRC colour scheme though. You are right about the side panels though, definitely a previously faired bike.

Just did a quick search and the Prolink was available here but only in silver.

Do you have to take your hand off the throttle to press the cruise knob.
Catteeclan
Packed and sent Mandi off at 11.30 yesterday and dug the tracer out. Nipped over to Lowestoft on the coast rd. Weather was warm but overcast with some sun so went through to Beccles and stopped for some unlucky fried chicken before remembering F1 started at 2pm so went home again. I like it when you get out and hardly see another bike on the road.

No, that's just the on off switch, the controls are just under the right indicator button.
