Check out this old ore crusher. Looks like train wheels in a circular track - they dumped rocks into the track and the turning wheels crushed them. Power by a steam engine via a big assed pulley belt and a right angle drive...

Another mine across the valley that I've never been to as there's no road to it. My fat ass isn't gonna hike up the hill to see it, either. So you'll have to settle for a long range shot...

Not sure. Assume one was a storage area and the other may have been a summer kitchen, etc. Same construction as the house that I posted in my "Then and Now " thread.

I'd say that about 65% of the buildings in our town are just like this - empty and falling apart. Just not enough money to save them all. It'd be nice if they could.
