KTM biggest blunder

It wasn’t the best decision they ever made but what killed them was when they started softening the bikes down into the same stuff everyone else was making. I understand the company sales are picking up well now though.

How is your Bajaj? You have two Indian motorcycles now.

BMW should have done the same. Buy a bike if you want to go traveling on it!

It would have kept them out of going bankrupt for sure...and probably would have changed the market and direction of adventure motorcycles...

True....it's not like they couldn't afford to buy these bikes if they really wanted them....just trying to imagine if KTM would have went along...how things could possibly be different today...

We would see a lot less wank panzers, so that would have been a good thing.

I agree. It sucks to buy a 20 grand bike and then there’s one everywhere.

I wonder how reliable the KTMs would have been. They broke the Beemers carrying stupid amounts.
