  1. Nope - never have. Always been more of a speed metal kind of person.
  2. Sun is out in the 'hood here today as well. First time in 3-4 days...
  3. Usually around 10:00 PM or so. have never really slept too much since I was a little kid.
  4. Won't be able to sit down for a week.
  5. True. I'm thinking of moving east - to West Virginia or someplace like that. Fantastic riding, not crowded at all, etc.
  6. Ahhh ya pussy! I'm weird in that I get up around that time most days anyway - so it's not a bother for me. It's gotta be done before the school opens for the day though. Place has a shitload of steps as , like everything else here, it's on the side of the mountain ...
  7. Got another 12" last night. Fun! I shovel the steps and decks on the house myself and a contractor does our driveway as it's about 160 feet long - too long to shovel by hand. They charge $80 per snow - not a flat rate. Last year, when it snowed 61" in a day, they charged double that amount as they had to bring in extra equipment to do it. Ends up costing anywhere from $2,500 to $3,500 per year usually. Looks cool, too.... In addition to that, I volunteer at our local school and shovel the steps and walkways there. It's kinda fun in a weird way. We get there at 0400 on snowy days and shovel for about 3 hours to get all of the steps done before school. It's good exercise, too.
  8. 12F / -11 C today with 13 inches of new white stuff so far and it's still coming down. I'll be out on the driveway if anyone needs me ....
  9. Nice pics! I've got to get back to Scotland for some riding someday.
  10. Hello and welcome! Let me know if you're up for a lap around the USA someday - always wanted to do that. Ireland is great for riding - lovely place.
  11. Sounds like you need to stay home in bed. But you'd end up wrapping a sheet around your head and suffocating....
  12. That could have really hurt - glad you survived!
  13. Looks like a perfect day. Nice post!
  14. Yeah right - that Mama moose would have stomped you into a stain on the driveway.
  15. Thought my bike was gonna get knocked over today....
  16. Getting my drone out and going to the local football field to learn how to fly the damned thing. Had it for 2 years and have yet to fly it. I'll either have some cool video or a lightly used drone for sale by tomorrow night...
  17. Weather has been great here lately, really odd that it's this warm at this time. Got out on the scooter and snapped a few pics of the local area. Not really worthy of a Ride Report though so here they are ....
  18. Yes - have done the professional Ironman race in Boulder for the past 3 years. On those, I have a professional referee on the bike with me as pillion. He does all of the yelling at people and I just ride the bike to his instructions. edit: here are some of the Super Tenere's they used at Ironman - built for TV camera guys to move around on. I didn't take a lot of pics at Ironman as I didn't really have the time - too busy being told what to do <gg>.
  19. After the Monument, we slogged 250 miles on the highway to get home. Tired and cold, it's good to be home. Next weekend is the year's last Moto Mrashal gig - the Denver Century Ride.
  20. Up at the crack of 9:00 AM the next day, (waiting on warmth again), and off to the coffee shop for all of the others while I watch the bikes in he parking lot. Then onto a speed alp of the Colorado National Monument ...
