Dude, I'm in Midwestern USA - the helpings are all freakin' huge here. Of course, you never finish what you're served and leave about 1/3 of it on the plate.

And as with any Mexican dinner, copious amounts of watery Mexican beer is required. I always have their version of a dark beer to give it a bit more flavor; Negro Modelo. Couple of pics of the interior of the restaurant; don't wanna go in here during an acid trip...

Dinner last night was at a local Mexican restaurant where I had the arroz con pollo which is just as it sounds; rice with chicken. The chicken is grilled in spices and cut into strips and put on top of rice. Some white cream is drizzled over the top. Served with flour tortillas. A basic Mexican staple....

@Pedro is always interested in what American foods we're eating so I decided to add a thread for him where I'll add food pics from time to time. Yesterday in Indianapolis, Indiana, I had lunch at a Skyline Chili restaurant. A Five Way and two cheese coneys. The Five Way consists of spaghetti pasta, chili with beans, onions and a small amount of cheese on top. Cheese coneys consist of the same chili over a small hot dog and again a smattering of cheese on top. The first thing I do when eating these is scrape about 2/3 of the cheese off. I mean I like cheese but wholly crap!

I saw that - how freakin' stupid is that? Wearing chaps in the first place is pretty dumb and this is a way to make it even more dumb.

I think a tour of the ghost towns, haunted areas and old gold mines around here would do well. There are lots of local ghost tours that are popular . The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park is one of the more famous ones: https://www.stanleyhotel.com/night-tour.html . It's the hotel that inspired Stephen King to write "The Shining" . But there are loads of ruins, etc that could make up a week long riding tour.

Seems to happen just before every major election. Maybe the ammo manufacturers keep supply limited to keep prices up?

I have no service at my home, no service at my shop in Denver - dunno why i even have a phone. Should cancel it and go without as I rarely even use it. About 3 calls per month and maybe 10-15 texts is about all I do.

Pretty much sums it up. Never understood why someone would want to pay for a "tour" when it's just as easy to set out on your own and wander around....and lots cheaper, too.

Dark Tourism is a big thing here as well. Loads of supposedly "haunted" places that the geeks tour. Dunno if I'd wanna take them along on a bike trip though. I'd love to do a regular touring business on bikes though - would be fun and I know all the good places to go.
