So goodbye to Canada - home of expensive fuel, nice people and shitty food. We landed in Lake Saranac, NY at a fancy schmancy hotel. Smallest room ever and a bathroom so small, I didn't fit in the shower!
-
We then rode another couple hundred miles to Sudbury, Ontario for our last night up here. Wings and beers were thew only thing we could find foe dinner within walking distance from the hotel ...

Left Thunder Bay, Ontario and headed to Sault Ste. Marie to meet up with my buf from Michigan - Craig. Had to leave at 0400 again as I had a 650 mile day ahead of me. Again. rode along the Lake for hours....

We are currently sitting just north of Boston in New Hampshire - raining all day and night because of some hurricane / tropical storm. Leaving tomorrow though, regardless of the weather.

Yesterday was a day to forget - riding in high heat and humidity across the farm fields of Iowa and southern Minnesota. Started the day off with a fancy breakfast at a posh restaurant in Iowa ...

Back at the room, Todd prepares his bed made of pillows on the floor. They are sold out and didn't have any other rooms available and mine had one bed. His ass is gonna hurt tomorrow!

We were kind of in the suburbs, but still - I thought Omaha was a great little town. Clean, neat streets with lots of people milling about....

So we walked about 200 feet to a Taproom for pizza and beers. Pizza was "Detroit style" which apparently means greasy and square in shape. Still, I ate most of mine as I was starving.

Went down to the hotel bar at 5:01 PM as it opens at 500 - not that I'm a raging alcoholic or anything. Bastards weren't open at 5:00 . And their Stella tap was dry....

Damned thing just won't die! I'd like to get another bike soon but this one just keeps going....
