  1. The weather feels like October already around here. Most of the tourists have started to go home now and the Coast is slowing down again. Got out for a short ride on Charlotte today. Hopefully out on Bagheera tomorrow. It is a long weekend here, so I have an extra day of fun. Have a good weekend everyone!
  2. I might just need to visit Wales some day.......
  3. Stunning road is right, looks so fun!
  4. It's funny here, the scooter people never expect to be waved at......then I come along with a big old HI THERE and it seems to make them smile.
  5. Thanks. . It is the 360 camera footage. I am using it a bit too much these days, but I like the feeling of the footage, reminds me of the ride more. But I should really switch up the cameras for a change.
  6. That is it exactly..... it is fun to see other crazy folk stuck in mud and riding through swampy creeks..... No idea why some like to do that, I like to get dirty....but there is a limit.
  7. I was thinking the same thing....was hoping to see his new bike. Where's the mud shot @Sir Fallsalot?
  8. Rainforest Ride Log August 27, 2021 - Royal Enfield Himalayan After the first full day of proper rain in months, it seemed suiting to go for a ride through the rainforest. The late summer air was cool and fresh and the roads were in the perfect condition for a leisurely ride. The corridor of trees seemed to go on without end, it starts to mesmerise you and draw you in. Eyes on the road Grasshopper!
  9. Ok, I know you are still upset about your BOTM loss last round due to my awesome piece of shit bike, but you can let it go now..... .....we are into a new round, there is hope for you this time around.....
  10. Building in the spare tire, some recovery gear, camping gear, a fridge, boating gear, camera gear areas....stuff like that.... Doing the "overlanding" thing, for lack of a better word. We had a van, but we needed more of a 4x4 for where we like to adventure....
  11. I'm not too sure how to react to that......ummmmmmm ......ya, I've got nothing to say that won't make it sound worse.......
  12. Oh dear.....you are starting to get to know me @Tym Very nice stuff there, I do have some similar items.....
  13. After several configurations were tested, I concluded more "useable" space was required for the desired result. So.....out come the the rest of the seats. NOW THIS I CAN WORK WITH! I have now done this to 3 vehicles and the previous 2 are both vehicles I had many fun adventures in and look back on with very good memories! So I'm looking forward to the adventures to come in my Toyota with no seats!
  14. That is a nice idea, but would count me out most months. I live in a land locked small rural coastal area, not much here but trees, water, trees, rocks, trees, and some trees for a crazy change up of pace......
  15. So true. Soon I will forget the troubles and carry on blissfully. But you know the gremlins are just waiting till I least expect it......
  16. Thursday was the first proper full day of rain we've had here in months. That meant a ride through the fresh rainforest was in order today. The Himalayan started, ran great the whole ride, almost better than ever! It seems Bagheera and I are having some luck for a change. What an amazing ride! Have a fun weekend everyone!
  17. Some beautiful shots Pedro. I love the light at that time of day! Your bike is looking good, some BOTM pics there for sure!
  18. Same here.... It was a bicycle wipe out going down a big hill. The gravel bits in the hands was not fun. Besides that, I just don't like the feel of no gloves. I always thought driving gloves were cool, for any vehicle.....lol
  19. Of course I loved riding pillion as a kid. I think I was on a bike before I could walk....lol But in the 25 years I have been riding, I have only rode pillion once for a period of time, when we were commuting from the city to the Coast during the winter over big freeways and onto ferries. The conditions were bad and it was better for us to be on one bike. I would hit cars and keep them back while we rode through the city. The night rides were dark, wet and cold, so it was nice to share the body heat. It was a bit crazy, but we managed, we were young! That was about 20 years ago now, since then I have not been a pillion. I prefer to control my own ride.
  20. The weather here today is a mixed bag of clouds, sun, lots of wind and flying branches. Think I will go for a lovely Sunday ride on the Honda. Maybe stop at the beach to watch the waves roll in.
  21. Well that looks like fun too!
