The weather looks like it will be rainy and cool this weekend, but that's just the way it will be for months now, so no sense in stopping the normal proceedings. Going out for a ride on the Himi this morning and hopefully the Honda tomorrow or Sunday. Working on some other fun projects as well, and maybe even whipping up a batch of cookies!

How do you manage to find the creepiest GIFs Bob???? This is twice today you have damaged my innocence..... But, to be fair..... I guess that is what I get when I hang around old creepy dudes......

...all I found was this, so you should be good to go Pedro #35. Do not try to travel back to the time of the big bang. The universe was incredibly small back then, and there are trillions of other organisms out there who have already had the same bright idea as you, or are going to have it at some point in the future. The traffic is highly congested, and you WILL get into a wreck. So don't even try it.

It was a very chilly morning, our first bit of frost as well. Had to bring a blanket for the old girl today, she didn't seem to mind though....

I LOVE Halloween..... I enjoy the autumn very much, I might have mentioned that. But for some reason I love Halloween the most. I have great memories from when I was a kid, so I guess it is my way of keeping those fun memories alive. The decorations are silly but fun, Godzilla even found a date for the party this year. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Had a really nice ride yesterday on the Honda. The sun came out and the fall colours were in full swing. The side roads were a bit of a mess from the storm last week, but not too bad.

I have way too much planned for this weekend, but it will fun trying to get everything done.... It's a cool but beautiful day today, so I think I will take the Honda for a spin. The roads are still a mess from the storm so this should be interesting. I have to say though, my street riding in bad road conditions, has gotten so much better now that I have been riding on dirt for almost 2 years. What are a few million pine needles compared to baby heads!

It came like that out of the box. That is one of those things about the Himalayan, many buy it for that "vintage" look. I liked it too, because there seemed like not much could go wrong with such a simple bike. I have also been hard on the bike and it needs new tires and some suspension love....

ouch.... I enjoy sharing photos, mainly because that is how I prefer to communicate, didn't know it was annoying for some....

I had plans to go out, but now we are expecting another storm.....with winds gusting up to 90km/hr later this morning... I'll just get ready and sit on my bike in the driveway, with the wind it will feel like I am really moving......lol

Had a great ride today on the Honda. When I left home it was dark and cloudy so the autumn colours looked even more brilliant. Then it started to rain and back to sun by the time I got home. Such a nice time of year to ride. Have a good weekend everyone!

Let me know and feel free to share your reasons, I would love to hear them. For me it is one easy yes and one not so easy yes. My Honda CB500F is exactly what you expect, a happy Honda that just does what it is meant to do, and it is super fun, so a big Yes for me on that one, I would buy one again. As for my Royal Enfield Himalayan, well, there have been times when I have wanted to leave it in the forest and just walk away. Logic would tell me to say No on this one, considering the build quality and all the work I have done to make a NEW bike run well. BUT, looking back at the skills, lessons, adventures and confidence gained with that bike, I would have to say Yes, I would buy one again, especially for the kind of riding I enjoy doing.

Hello Everyone... I have been away for a bit, so I am not up on the latest, I hope everyone is well. I managed to get out on the Himalayan for a really nice ride on Friday. Great autumn weather. I made a short video from the ride....(no 360 camera if that matters ) Check it out if you are bored....

An October Jaunt Autumn is my favourite time of year to ride. Not too hot, not too cold, Goldilocks style all the way. Just right! But perhaps without the bears.... So on a beautiful October day it seemed logical to journey out on the Himalayan for a short but enjoyable October jaunt. The autumn forest is lovely to ride through and the cool air makes the bike feel like it could go all day. Clear views, a simple single and sweet road conditions, makes for one happy Grasshopper! Happy Autumn Safe Travels Everyone!
